A few comments: - The background for the DPS graph should be variable - The DPS lines need to be bold (Especially red and green - I am colorblind) - The DPS lines don't seem to be continuous, and I doubt it's intentional.

Set the Ishtar to be going 80% of its velocity, and the Tempest to be sitting still.
You will see at 10km a large and sudden drop in the DPS calculation; this is incongruous with what appears on the Eve-O tracking guide.
Additionally, explosion velocity/radius don't seem to be taken into account.
Excellent work though - it's much faster than typing the stuff out manually into the tracking guide.

Edited by: Deux Machina on 07/03/2008 02:12:42 It factors webs in... which explains the sudden spike in DPS at 10km. D'oh.
Very nice.
Ed: Domi web on one of my setups revealed my error. ;-)
Ed: Clicking on the individual lines will bold them, which is greatly appreciated.
Ed: Right clicking will show specific DPS calculations and provide range.
Ed: Request: Clicking on the ships on the right should highlight them in the same way that clicking their graph highlights the ship.

Edited by: Quincunx on 07/03/2008 18:44:05 I'm sure this has been asked before, but the thread is a bit too large to go through, but when going from 2.4.1 to 2.5, isn't there a way to upgrade? I mean, downloading and using a new version loses all ship fittings I made in 2.4? Or is there a way to import those to the new version?
Thanks.
Also, if you want to fit faction crystals into turrets, True Sansha crystals arent there? I know they are they same as some of the other ones, but still.

Just unpack the version 2.5 archieve over the 2.4.1. version, your own characters and setups are not overwritten all other files are. No need for upgrading.

Excellent improvement!
I'd kill for Projected Effects to be expanded into something like the Sensor Resolution right-click feature. As in you can select from different set-ups and have it show your chance to jam. Of course having stacking penalties and skills calculated into the result would be preferable :)
Nice work I have to say :)

Projected effects are things like neuts/nos, energy transfer arrays, remote reps, shield transporters, projected ECCM and so on. You can see the effect they have on your fit by opening another ship with the relevant modules, or if they're fitted on your own ship and drag the module you want to see the effect of into the projected effects window. It then applies that effect to your ship.
Easy example: take a guardian, all skills 5 pilot, fit a Energy Transfer array and then drag it into the projected effects box. Now you see the extra cap gained per second if the ship were affected by that module. (useful for setting up cap-stable twin logi setups)

No i don't believe EFT has the option to add Booster effects. May have something to do with the random drawbacks and so on.

I like some of the new features in 2.5, but I'm curious what formula you are using for the targeting time display?
It doesn't seem to be the "original" 10000/scanres/asinh(sigrad) formula, and it doesn't seem to be the newer one we reverse engineered either. It looks like it shows a targeting time that is faster than it should be, especially for larger size targets.

Looks like shield transporters and remote armor repairers aren't affected properly by warfare links.
Can someone check to see if I'm just missing something?

EFT 2.5 has an annoying bug > Open a setup, go to an another software (or minimize EFT), then return to EFT.
EFT can not be used anymore, because the left click of the mouse can't interact (left column don't want add an item or expand a category, I can't delete a fitted item, etc...), and the taskbar remains grey (like EFT is totally frezzed).
If I do a right click in the left column inside EFT, or inside the setup, this unblock EFT and I can operate now.
More funny, if I open TWO setups or more, only the one who was in forefront before I minimize EFT can't be accessed, I can left click on the second one and use it normaly, but the forefronted one still remains impossible to interact, as long as I don't use the right click inside him or inside the left column to unblock it.
For information, I unzip the software in a new folder and I only copied setups files and character files inside.
One another thing, for price, I think it can be good if you can add a " "Checking..." "Connection failed", etc..." state who would appear in the same line, because after click, I don't know if I REALLY click, or what he does. _______
