ISSUE: ease of accessing a new inventory window when a container is already open and configured in such a way as to be tedious in deriving new window from it, such as a cargohold taking up minimal space in the corner of the screen in a way that makes the tree pane impossible to utilize without stretching (destroying current config) the container window.
SOLUTION: shift-clicking inventory button on neocom spawns new inventory window in a default position, of moderate size, with the tree of available containers reasonably expanded to include major containers (ships, station containers, corp hangar but not individual divisions)
To go even farther, shift clicking the neocom inventory button could open up just the list of containers available at the given location and then once one is clicked the new window becomes that container with the tree pane compressed out of the way. |

For example, let me create an area in my inventory that i can call "Skills & Implants" i can drag all my stuff in there etc etc.
You have filters at the moment, but they are not as good. |

1. Has anyone had difficulty creating contracts with multiple items in it? Not as easy as it used to be, I think it really needs to be streamlined.
2. Separate the ships back to a separate tab. it takes way too long to move things around and fit.
3. We should be able to right click on our ship to access drones bays - in station and in space.
There are just too many things packed into the inventory UI IMO, scrolling up and down to move things around is not effective, smooth, nor quick. Much of it I really like and appreciate the Dev's hard work on this. I'm not a carebear...-áI'm a SPACEBARBIE! |

Rollback to the previous UI. It worked perfectly for what we needed. This new "one-window inventory" is an absolute mess that quite literally renders the game unplayable to pilots relying on speedy reflexes and those doing logistics (moving big things in Freighters etc). |

ISSUE: Messy modules in my inventory all look alike after a few nights without sleep. FIX: Improve the sorting system so that we can put tags different items.
ISSUE: Always running missions and I usually accidentally dump some ammo into my station inventory along with some of my loot FIX: Make an "Ammo Bay" to separate my ammo from other loot. You could even turn it into a skill. For ever level you gain x amount of ammo bay space. You could even take that space away from the cargo hold.

Problem: The unified inventory window takes up too much of the screen, obscuring a dangerously large portion of the screem when flying in space. A size reduction to solve this problem reloates all stacked windows and can be tedious to correct. Spawning a new inventory window overrides the old inventory window's location if the old window is closed first.
Solution #1: Add the ability to permanently seperate portions of your inventory into a window with its own shortcut on the neocom. This would allow commonly used inventory locations (cargo-holds, your personal hanger tab, etc) to be opened in smaller (unobtrusive) windows.
Solution #2: Use a drop down menu for inventory locations instead of a sidebar. This would allow players to reduce the footprint of the window without losing functioanlity.

SOLUTION: Add a loot all button that works quickly. (edit: Prior to opening up the slow inventory menu system)
NOTE: What I'm talking about is, you're in a frig with a mwd, you've just killed someone, and you need to loot the wreck and warp out before their friends warp in. Before the new UI, this was possible. Now, it's just too slow. For QA people, fit a merlin with a mwd, and make sure you can loot a container going at full speed on the first pass. |

Also based on something from a few days ago, ignore if this has been fixed:
Issue: when I dropped several hundred items from a hangar into a station container, it took several minutes to complete and my client became unresponsive for the duration. As best I can tell, it was due to the fact that items were being placed in the container one at a time, and price/volume calculations were being refreshed for the entire container with each item.
Solution: On mass item moves, wait until the entire move is complete before recalcuating market value. That seems to be the factor that has changed since UI came out. It's time to put an end to CCP's war on piracy. Fight your own battles and stop asking CCP to do it for you. |

Please Please Roll it back to the old hangars etc, this new system is clumsy, unresponsive and reduces any remote form of quick action. I have been sitting here for the last 20 minutes with the inventory loading and still nothing, this is not the first time, it is like this a lot as the system is trying to load far too much information into one window.
We don't need to have just one window for each hangar / can / ship hold, the old addage if it aint broke don't fix it is something you guys really need to put into place as a company philosophy.

Oh and please get rid of that annoying rectangle of information when you hover over something in a hangar or at least apply a delay so it does not come up straight away, it just obstructs the view of the rest of the hangar contents and does not provide any information of value that is not otherwise displayed in the bottomn right corner if you click on an item. |

When dragging an item to another section in the tree, the main window switches focus to this section when you hover over the tree list which is very annoying.
The search box in the upper-right corner clears when you switch to a different section in the inventory. It should remember it's state so you can search for an item and then just click through the sections in the tree, searching for that same item in each tree category.
The tree view uses up far too much screen real estate, a tabbed view would be far superior. Perhaps make it an option so you can choose to use whichever style fits you best. While you're at it, adding tabs to the ship maintenance array that could each be configured for use by a different pilot would be awesome, maybe even allow you to partition off an amount of the total storage capacity so that you could chose to have 2 equal sized tabs, or maybe one tab that is 50% and two other tabs each 25%, etc.
Stacking Items takes way too long.
Make each section remember it's preferred view settings. I want to see my ships as icons and my items as a detailed list without having to constantly push the button to change it.
I like to have my cargohold open in a small window in the lower corner of my screen while flying in space. I don't want other windows to default to opening to this window. Allow a way to seperate a section from the tree view and pin it in place so that it always opens in it's preferred location. I don't want to have to shift-click everytime I want to loot a wreck or something. Maybe allow a way choose whether your default action is open in a new window, or open in the same window.
I have given this new inventory system a chance. I've been using it and feel more comfortable with it now than I did at first. I didn't want to just start griping right away without giving it a fair chance first, however the old inventory system was far superior. Every task you do in the game requires the use of the inventory system and such a fundamental change to one of the core components to the game should have been thought out much better and thoroughly tested before it was implemented. The feedback on the forums about this system while it was on Sisi should have made it clear that it was not ready, yet it was pushed through regardless.
This new system has made me change my gameplay style greatly. I can no longer stand to use the inventory system if it can be avoided. This has cost me a great deal of isk as I no longer want to do any ratting and looting/salvaging, I no longer enjoy trade as it takes much longer to accomplish the same thing. I have had to occupy myself with pvp mostly for now, but without being able to do the tasks easily that I used to do in order to support my pvp habit my funds are dwindling and I'm seriously considering finding another game. My account expires in October. I guess we'll see how I feel about it when October comes around. |

So I'm doing POS-works in our corp (offlining silos, filling/emptying silos, onlining silos)
Now with the possibility to rename the silos I don't have to go over the tower-management menu anymore (thanks for that).
Problem is that there's always a chance that I forget to online a silo after the transfer (whoops).
So how about a little light that shows you for the mod modules if they are online or offline?

Probably overlapping with other suggestions writte here:
Display shorter names for containers. For example, Station, Ships, ETC. Also, if I named a container I probably did so because I wanted to see its name, and nothing else. So exile the descrption (Large Secure Container) to the back of the line.
Implement horizontal slidebars everywhere already...
Instead of displaying only the dropdown arrows, draw lines that show clearly where the container belongs.
It should be possible to see multiple containers' contents and capacity information at once. Suddenly, Dividers! Thousands of them! Okay, maybe a limit of sixteen will be enough? Just buplicate the right-side part of the current window with vertical sorting.
Add checkboxes in front of the containers, so we can easily select which ones we want to always see. This information should be saved, so when a container becomes inaccessible, it disappears from the list, but when it comes back, the divider comes back, too.

Since you changed the inventory UI, why do we have a separate, redundant "Assets" window anyway? While you're at, unify the " Assets" tab under Corporation too. I have 3-4 different UIs to find my stuff. That's stupid.
Inventory should be just one window. Where it's currently written "Index", offer a dropdown menu to select a different station (sorted by system/const/region). Then I can select another station and see, under the tree, the things on my personal hangar and corporation hangar. I should be able to see all my stuff with the same UI and do remote actions like selling and installing blueprint jobs.
Also, I don't like how my current ship, all my assembled ships, my item hangar, my ship hangar and corporation hangars all get mixed up on the navigation tree. Give it a reasonable organization. They are all at the same level in the tree, even though they represent completely different things. Make it like this:
- Active Ship -- Drone Bay --- - Ship Hangar -- Ship N --- - Item Hangar -- Container N --- - Corporation Hangar -- Division N - Personal Hangars -- Corpmate N --- - Market Deliveries

When my ship inventory was closed before looting, it should not remain open after looting. |

Pretty much this. What we are complaining about is not what you have given to us, but rather what you took away without ANY credible explanation. (Across at least 4 threads I read so far, plus 2 I know about but did not post in). It is a 1:1 repetition of CQ, only worse. I just wonder when we will receive the next tearful explanation and promise to listen to customers more - don't bother, I won't believe you anyways. Just fix this s**t. heres a suggestion start with the feedback from sisi and all the people who said this is terrible, then read the posts about how people cant acces find or organize ANYTHING,
the fix on the 19th better make some of this bearable or im going to start another d3 account and forget about how bitter i am at ccp because they cant seem to learn the simple rule IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT.
