Galffin wrote: I thought I would throw in my 2 cents on RE. While I haven't actually done RE and manufacture I did crunch the numbers a bit and I think the best way to look at the numbers is profit per group. Even if you don't get the high profit bpc you want to mitigate possible losses with a bad bpc, so you want to average the outcomes.
The problem is u don't simply produce that "unwanted" profitable sub, since mostly there are only 1 or 2 per group that u would produce at all. So basically u either have those 4x RE cost or u can migrate costs for some groups. Like i noted there are only a max. of 2 subs per group that do matter at all and the second unwanted has much lower profit, but if u have capacity it may be worth to produce and offset the RE costs. So we just need a set-able value what is considered "profitable", so we can filter those subs, since the sometimes shown 100-75% values are quite misleading to what u would actually produce. |

I came across an idea for a future update a few minutes ago while I was using your program. What if whenever you put in the number of runs for an item that you wanted to produce, there is also a button to add the required raw materials/components to a 'shopping list.' It would remove the need of having to have another spreadsheet to calculate how much of each component you would need.
LJ
EDIT: Wow, 2 minutes later and I realize it's already implemented. You sir,are a genius. Thank you! |

EDIT2: Perhaps having a volume of the products after they are produced in the shopping list could be a good addition. Heh, thanks. I actually started this program for the sole reason of having a shopping list.
On #2, do you mean the volume after they are built for the build items? Confused on what you mean. I do have a volume for all the buy materials list under price. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

Thx for the quick update before u leave town, btw can u also add POS fuel costs to RE costs, since i only see it added to invention/PE/ME?

Yes, a volume of the built items, after they are made. It could be used for planning which hauler to use to take each day's goods to the hub. |

What time contributes to the difference between "BP Production Time" and "Total Item Production Time" when looking at a T2 Blueprint?
Invention time? Copying time? I can't get it to add up.
Also, does anyone know if there's a display bug ingame when it comes to copying time? When looking at T1 BPOs the copy time doesn't seem to change regardless of my Science skill level. For example, a 10mn Afterburner I seems to always have "Research Copy Time" of 6hr 40m |

The shopping list is a great feature but I'm running into problems using it.
The shopping list doesn't update correctly for component materials when you use the "add to shopping list" button multiple times for the same item. For example, if I want to do 1000 runs on a blueprint and I want to run 6 jobs, I usually hit the "add to shopping list" button 6 times from the Blueprints tab. While the item list increases in number, the quantity of raw materials doesn't. I'm using the latest version of IPH. |

I found a bug with the reactions.
If you select a type of reaction, refresh and then click on a reaction the program lists the required materials for that reaction. However, if you sort the list of reactions and the click on another reaction the required materials box is completely wrong! |

New Build and updated database. The new modules are added but the names are different than in the devblog. Also, the T2 version of the new drone mod doesn't seem to have any T2 parts associated with it. Apparently it can't be invented in game either so when they release an update to it, I'll do the same.
I fixed a few bugs that people reported and I'll try to get some feature development done this weekend. My list is getting too big so need to chop it down some
Build 2.0.4525.30375
- Updated the program database to Inferno_1.0_70633 data export.
- Updated the BP images to Inferno_1.0_70633 data export.
- Items without buildable components will display raw materials in only the raw mats window on the Blueprint Tab.
- Items without buildable components will only display a Raw row when Compare All option is selected on the Manufacturing Tab.
- Updated Datacore Tab to reflect Inferno changes, 1 - Datacores cost 10,000 Isk per core and 2 - all cores cost 100 Research Points to redeem.
- Updating the Runs for T3 items after checking 'Ignore Invention/RE' costs will no longer crash the program.
- After Sorting the list of Reactions, the Reactions Tab will now show correct materials for the Reaction when selected.
As always, post here if you have issues/find bugs. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

raukosen wrote:What time contributes to the difference between "BP Production Time" and "Total Item Production Time" when looking at a T2 Blueprint? Invention time? Copying time? I can't get it to add up. The BP production time is how long it takes to make the item when you have all the materials. The total item Production Time is to build all the materials marked as build (or just listed if 'Calculate Optimal' is not checked). I assume you only have 1 BP for each component and then just figure out the most efficient time you could make that item given the PE values you have stored (or 0 if not).

Yep. If I can profit when I quickbuy and quicksell, I'm sure to profit if I slowbuy and/or slowsell.
Let me see if I can find a spot that makes sense. Herm...
Maybe under the items with no Price checkmark? It's not great but it should fit. Or scunch the trade hubs up and but it below max buy/min sell. Or better yet, rename that to "Optimistic" with a tooltip describing it and add "Pessimistic" next to it. Single-Shard, Player Driven-áSandbox.

I'm having an issue with the v2 installation. Previous to the latest update IPH v2 was running fine. It then said there was an update and after attempting to update it said it was no longer supported.
Ok fine, removed the old installation, downloaded the latest .msi file and installed, all good. Apparently not...
IPH will run and the popup window for the API comes up, here is where the problem starts...
The window either disappears too fast to copy and paste the API into in or after entering the API information the dialog window disappears and IPH doesn't start. Running IPH again results in the same API dialog pop up and issues.
I have tried a repair on the installation and even removed it and re-installed it again, same problem.
Running under Win7

Yeah as far as I can tell. I think the data is all being replicated since he had a meltdown on the system a few weeks ago and lost all the previous data. Some of it comes up fine but a lot still missing.
Eve Central price updates aren't working correctly either. Lots of prices missing in the API that are on the website. Looking into that as well.

Several updates for 2.1. Now that I got these out of the way, I'll work on some long standing requests. Two things to note in 2.1, the invention formula change and updates to Drone Damage Amlifier IIs. Please double check.
As always, post your bugs and issues here, which I'm sure there will be a few.
Build 2.1.4529.39252
General
- Added correct material list for Drone Damage Amplifier II (due to CCP hotfix following Inferno).
- Updated Invention Runs Formula based on Inferno Expansion Patch. Basic change to the invention runs formula is that max run BPCs are no longer required to get the 1 run from the BPC in addition to the Decryptor bonus. For example: A 1 run BPC before using a User Manual (+2 Runs) would result in 2 runs. After Inferno you get 3 (1 from BPC and +2 from Decryptor). Note: this change seems to work for my testing but let me know if you notice a discrepancy with the data on screen and what you expect.
Blueprints Tab
- Entering zero for runs will no longer crash the program.
- Added ME values to clipboard exports for all items that have an ME value set in the program.
- Added .8, .7, .6, .5, .4 to time modifier to allow for Outpost manufacturing times
- Renamed GÇÿCalculate OptimalGÇÖ to GÇÿCalculate Build/BuyGÇÖ to avoid confusion on what this option does when checked.
- Options to export components when raw materials when GÇÿCalculate Build/BuyGÇÖ is selected or when an item without components has been set to correctly grey out when appropriate.
- Added tooltips to GÇ£Can/Cannot BuildGÇ¥ labels to indicate you can see required skills to make the item(s) by clicking on them.
- Sovereignty Structure Blueprints will now appear under GÇÿStructuresGÇÖ in the Blueprint Selection Combo.
Update Prices Tab
- Added ability to split price downloads for items and raw materials by any price provided by the EVE Central API. I.e. you can set max buy for raw materials and min sell for items to maximize efficiency, or min sell for raw materials and max buy for items to maximize turnaround time.
- Added Asteroids to Update Price list for use in the Mining Tab and Compressed Blueprint Calculations.
- Returned item prices from EVE Central that are zero will no longer overwrite existing prices. In cases where EVE Central does not report a price, but you have one set, IPH will maintain the old price. This will help with manual price updates where EVE Central continually has no record to return.
Manufacturing Tab
- Added Production Time Modifier combo and all possible time modifiers.
- Added production runs to the Manufacturing Tab. This will be the total number of production lines that is used for manufacturing calculations to better reflect what you are building (i.e. 10 lines of Shield Booster II instead of 1 line per production run). This change will be apparent in SVR calculations rather than regular calculations. Enter the data manually or double click to enter max production runs for your character.
- Users will now export data in the manufacturing tab list to CSV through file export instead of using the clipboard.
Reactions Tab
- Refining with alchemy now uses refining equipment efficiency and tax rates set in the program settings.

Mining Tab
- Mercoxit variants will no longer show up in the Mining List when there is no Deep Core mining laser selected.
- Dark Ochre Variants will now correctly use mining crystals.
- The Modulated Deep Core Strip Miner II will automatically be selected if the user selects a Skiff and the proper skills are selected to use the Deep Core Strip Miner.
- Users can now select whether a Rorqual is in Deployed mode (bonus to gang links) or not (no gang link bonus)
- Users can now enter m3/hour for mining drones to add to yield per hour. Note the value here is your own estimate given your own mining setup and not based on your skills.
- Added Tooltip to Mining Foreman GangLink to highlight cycling through No Link, T1 or T2
- Added the ability to compare refining or not refining mined ice and ore. This is useful if you donGÇÖt have good refining capabilities or want to just sell quickly and want to find the best ore or ice to mine.
- If .75 refining yield is selected, calculations will assume a Refining Array is being used and will use calculations for Refining Arrays instead of Stations. The cap refining rate is .75 in this case.
- Shown yield rates were not accurately reflecting the true yield or the effect by taxes. This has been fixed.
Shopping List
- Added ME values to shopping list exports for all items that have an ME value set in the program.
- Added the total built volume to the shopping list screen and copy exports. This will be the total volume of the items list after they are built.
Blueprint Management
- Sovereignty Structure Blueprints will now appear under GÇÿStructuresGÇÖ in the Blueprint Selection Combo
- Selecting any option other than GÇÿAll BlueprintsGÇÖ will now automatically check all the blueprints in the main list.
- Added Backup and Load functionality for BP lists. The Backup button will save ALL blueprints into a csv file. Load will load that same file back into the program. If you change any data in the file, it will be reflected in the upload (i.e. ME/PE Data). If you remove any of the fields, your data will not load.
- Added tool tips explaining what is backed up and loaded for the Backup and Load BP buttons.
Program Settings
- Added Default Build/Buy and Default Build Equipment Modifier settings for use in the Blueprints and Manufacturing Tabs.
- Added Default Refinery Efficiency and Tax Settings for use in Mining and Reactions.
- Updated the names of GÇÿBeancounterGÇÖ Implants to recent name changes. The values should properly work now when set.

Just started it for the first time today and get the update message. Pressed yes and it downloads the updates.
A window then pops up saying installing updates. Then another pops up saying this is an unsupported version and i need to re download it from sourceforge.
This happened with the previous update as well, why wont it update the version I have? |
