There is a sub-folder named "settings" created, where you extracted the binaries, right after the first start of IPH (just keep the folder where u extract the IPH binaries open next time and start IPH and you will see it being created in-front of your eyes.Seems there is a relation with the crashes XML settings files and SQL. There are other things that do not work either.
Read here for more info http://pastebin.com/cHDi63yC
This url is stated in the MOTD of the in-game IPH channel. Contains info about the crashes etc. If you delete the settings folder and start again IPH you save time by re extracting the binaries.

You can also rename the individual files in the Settings folder -- bung "Old" in front of them -- to isolate the culprit and perhaps save you time re-entering things.
Perhaps worth noting that Zif has requested bug reports via EvE-mail. I'm sure he'll spot reports posted on the Forum eventually, but a mail may be more timely... |

Just run the new test version 3.0. Already very stable and reliable from what I can tell. Will start using it for my T1 production planning again :) |

Latest I can find is 2.3.5269.31895 - where can I get the 3.0 test?
Unfortunately this seems to be the only industrial calculator going ATM - a few I've found online lack some of the key needed features (importing or adding BPs and saving them so you can calculate subcomponent build costs). All the others I've found are hopelessly out of date. :( |

So, it's probably just me, but I can't get the test version to work. I didn't see any documentation on how to install it (I am at work with limited access).
I downloaded the files and put them in a test directory and ran the updater. It downloads and updates fine. When it tries to run IPH, it gets multiple crashing ok boxes and then this
Source: EVE Isk per Hour Message: An error occurred creating the form. See Exception.InnerException for details. The error is: SQLite error no such table: STATION_FACILITIES
I will submit an official ticket, but before I did, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I am failing at.
Anyone have a similar issue? Am I just not installing or running it correctly?
If it truly is a bug (and not due to my limited knowledge of programming) I will process a ticket.

Just download the Binaries.zip and unzip it. Use the files inside the zip. Run the Isk per Hour.exe. This should work for you. |

Looks like you have issues with rights at your computer at work.
You could try run as admin.

Download the binaries and run the exe. There are several things still not working so please be patient and send me eve mail on issues. I will be fixing the problem with facility selection on the bp tab tonight.

Based on what you posted, this is probably the issue. Statin facilities is a table I create after loading all the data from crest. All those errors you got at the beginning are probably crest related (they load at startup) and without them, there is no station facilities table. Without it, you really can't use the program anyway. I might look into another way to do this but for now, you need to be able to download files to your computer via iph for crest updates.

It's quite possible. I will try it at home tonight. I had already tried to run the entire series of events as admin, but it is still probably the issue. Doesn't seem too many people are having the same thing happen (maybe they are actually doing work, at work.

I'll wager that's what it is. Our software blocks certain things. Oddly, I can do the EVEO forums, but the DEVBLOGs are blocked. So strange. Is it possible to get a zip of those files and plug them into the directory, or is that outside of the process? I'm just trying to see if there is a work-around. It's more of a time-killer for me here. I figure I could test in between doing what's on my schedule. I will try it on my home computer tonight regardless.

Under reactions the raw material requirements for Terahertz Metamaterials and Photonic Metamaterials is partially incorrect. For each one component is listed as 1 unit instead of 100.
Also a question, when looking at T2 ships, does the sheet include the install costs for the components bpo's (when made from raw materials)?

I'm not seeing the issue with the reactions. That was in the old version, but I've fixed that in the 3.0 version. This was a database error actually from CCP that I manually fixed.
For the T2 ship components, yes it will be using the component facility you select and those prices will be added into the total. I have to verify that it is working correctly though in the test version but that is the plan.

Looks like there's a problem in the Manufacturing tab with selecting POSes for your build -- they always get an SCI of 1 instead of the actual SCI. Seems to work fine in the Blueprints tab though.
Can someone else check before I submit a bug report, just in case it's me that's borked? :-)
To reproduce:
Filter to a single T1 ammo BP in the Manufacturing tab (I used Titanium Sabot L, 10/20) Set the "Base" to any region/system/station of your choice, tick "Include cost" Calculate and export table Set "Base" to "POS", check the rest remains as before Calculate and export table Compare the "Manufacturing Facility System Index" column in both exports

Couple small things: The region and system drop downs in the section of the Manufacturing list don't allow keyboard selection (eg start typing D - O - M and have the drop down select Domain)
There's a 'save settings' on the price screen, can we please get a 'reset to saved settings' button to match? Please? |

Great Test Build so far! Much easier than trying to cobble together a spreadsheet for the industry changes.
One issue I have run into though. In trying to import corporate blueprints, all my assets show in the column for owned as yes. However, It does not transfer those assets over to the other screens. I am assuming the scanned assets are not completely considered owned until you check them off and set them as owned. If you go to select all and set ownership, the imported ME/TE values do not transfer and will only match the single value entered in, which defaults to ME0/TE0.
Any chance we could get either a way to do a mass import w/o setting the ME/TE values or maybe a filter option on each of the Blueprint filters to select "Scanned Personal" or "Scanned Corp" BPOs? |

Pretty much; instead of the ME/TE level being non-linear the time it takes to research each level is. It's easier to store ME/TE levels as information in a database, with there only being 10 different values for each. |

Thanks. I just got a bit confused as IPH still lets you put in higher numbers and letting it affect the iph outcome. Just putting in 10/20 should give accurate results then, I gather. |
