And if you're trying to say that the CONCORD buffs were not objected to in the past, then you're even more ignorant than I'd thought. I suggest you keep quiet until you know what you're talking about. I can tell you this, though: EVERY forum whine about suicide ganking has boiled down to this basic scenario: Rich player/macroer goes AFK and gets ganked, then comes on to the forum to cry about it. There's only two possible reasons for you to support a buff to this playstyle: (1) You're a new player too naive to realise this or (2) You're an AFKer who thinks you deserve to be safe without putting any effort into it. Oh wait, (3) You're just a shit-stirring troll. CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.

Having to keep your stuff from being destroyed is the whole point of playing. If you don't want that, then this game isn't for you. It's really as simple as that.

It might actually work out better for the ganker in some cases! The no insurance for CONCORD-related crimes makes sense - the gankers will have to think about what they kill again. Risk vs reward! All in all, highsec still isn't safe, and I'm sure the idiots in their T1 haulers will still lose billions, and they'll still complain on the forums.

My little sister wanted to play football but some nasty rough people took the ball away from her and kicked it all over the field and kicked it into her net like twenty times and she came home and she was crying because she just wanted to play football but they were so mean and they said she lost and laughed at her she just wanted to play football her way and she told mum and mum told her to get an EvE account and call the character Hungo. After reviewing the Dev entry about it all I'm inclined to mostly agree with Crae Matreki. If CONCORD response time is decreased but so is their damage, it apperas to me that what CCP is doing is catering to both sides of the aisle at once. Side one of course being whinesauces who complain about how long it takes CONCORD to arrive (not realizing that the lower sec status the system is the longer it takes), and the other side being suicide gankers (since decreased CONCORD damage would balance their faster response.) Lack of insurance for suicide ganking is a logical step, and one that even some supporters of the practice (such as myself) have been pushing for. The security status changes I'm not quite as thrilled about. Seems like status is now much easier to lose, but for those guys who are -10 that probably doesn't matter much. More casual PvPers like myself will have to wait and see how it works out for them.

It isnt just this. you need to see the bigger picture here this is only one of many nerfs that CCP has introduced makig the game safer for everyone. which will lead to higher subscriptions to the game and more people willf lock from AOC or wow since it becomes harder and harder to lose what they have grind for. Im betting this is why you dont hear ovuer or the rest of the "gang" posting here anymore since anything they have said earlier is becoming just what they said wouldnt happen.

I'm so glad that this change makes it impossible to gank t1 haulers hauling 2bil in cargo and make a hefty profit. No wait... it has no impact on that. What it does impact is brainless, risk-free ganking of anything that moves -- which it seems is what you're actually worried of losing here. Ganking valuable targets will remain profitable. Only now you have to actually do careful target selection and use your brains. This is apparently a painful change for many people. QFT
