Probably not a huge thing, but it seems like it calculates cargo capacity wrong. My hoarder (level 2 industrial skill) has 5100 base, 5610 after my skill, and three Expanded Cargo I's (+18%) put it at 5610 x 1.18 x 1.18 x 1.18 = 9217.40952 (checks out in game). But QuickFit kicks out a number over 10.1 K. Not sure.
Also, sometimes I get max speed on a ship gets bugged. It's like it doesn't remove the max speed when I pull off and afterburner, then when I put it back I get these crazy speeds (like over 1 km/sec on a Scythe with a 10mn ab and nothing else to boost speed).

When I was comparing some mining lasers, I saw that skills like Drone interfacing and Mining drone operation was taking into account when calculating mining amount for the laser. Is this a bug or do these skills really add bonus to your mining lasers?

was thinkig for the enxt version if you could fully setup two ships and run them agisnt each other? Including the rep, cap injector etc. Would be a funky tool

anyplace to get an older version of this that would work with java 1.4 ?
got some free time at work and am using mac os x 1.3.9.. can't really go to my boss and give this a valid reason to upgrade my OS to tiger :(

Bug report: When installing mining upgrades, although quickfit reports the penalty on log it doesn't apply it to the lasers.
Not sure if this is a known problem.

Another bug:
Ballistic Control Systems damage modifier is not subject to stacking penalties in Quickfit. I get things like:
Ballistic Control System II (lvl 0) -> Mjolnir Torpedo.emDamage : 663.75 => 730.12 HP
No stacking for every one I add. From that lvl0 thing it seems like it is handled like a skill, not like a module. The RoF modifier does stack properly though.

Congratulations on an excellent program. Am just reporting on a couple bugs.
On a raven, with siege/cruise launchers, drones fitted. you'll see the time to destroy the ship is a LOT less than the times to down shields+armour+struct. The calculation of final DPS is totally buggered - Changing from 0 to 90% resist had little influence, which was what warned me. Then I found that somehow struct is heavily weighed in the calculation.
These values are: 1000 arm, 1000 shield, 0 struct.

I offer a sugestion:
1 - make it so we can run 2 quickfits at same time 2 - make each of them able to locate the other and link 3 - make us able to, in simulation mode, start both simulating at same time (linked) 4 - allow us to run one ship against the other - noses, guns.
Yes I know this is like having a rolls royce offered to you and then asking if you can have it in another colour, but hei, if you don't ask you don't get.

Sorry to be a pest. Testing my Raven, found a new bug. Damage is being badly calculated.
Target is a dire pithy arrogator.
It is actually doing negative damage... There are things getting added-subtracted instead of multiplied.

Explain this error:
No JVM could be found on your system. Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to an installed JDK or JRE or download a JRE from www.java.com
Am I installing it in an incorrect location or... what? (currently it resides in my eve/utilities folder as I have 5 different eve client directories).

Just curious, how do you fit a retreiver with strip miners? Program says :Not enough CPU to fit the module (-11862.5 cpu)
This happens if the CPU/PG must fit box is checked or unchecked.

Ok, by that then it's actually IE / Outlook Express that labels the file as unsafe. As I dun use Internet Explorer, that's why it has never come up.
If Zip files are associated with an application, for example, Winzip or WinRAR, then when you extract the files, they don't inherit the blocked flag from the Zip. OTOH if you are using the compressed folders feature of Windows XP, it is possible that it inherits the block from the Zip file it came from, thus preventing it from running.
Solution as suggested by Microsoft:
Quote: You can open a blocked file from a known source if you want to. To open a blocked file, follow these steps: 1. Right-click the blocked file, and then click Properties. 2. In the General tab, click Unblock.
Do this on the Zip before extracting it.

bug: it says small tractor beams require graviton physics level 1, but in game small tractors require science level 4. Medium, large, and super tractor beams arent released but the small is.

hmm , downloaded it and it seems ok , but when i try to import my skills , right click my character and save target as. i get shunted straight to the news section, any help would be appreciated

You don't right click your picture but the link "XML DATA" right below your wallet and skill points (on the page where you can see your skills also). You don't have to rename the file, just import it as it is. Works for me. ------------------------------------------------- AWM Corp is Recruiting

guess i`m not making myself understood, ok the pictures in my character, when you click them you get a screen with the info for that character on it, yes? Well i don`t get that, at all, i get the news page instead. I think its the website thats doing it i just can`t figure out why? Also i had a hell of a job to reply, i had to use a quote and then edit it , otherwise i end up at post no 1 again .

ah ok... The first time when I load the eve-online main page and click "My character" it loads the news page alright (and this time it actually logs you in). Great tool, but I found a bug.
When I try to fit a destroyer with it's racial guns they get some kind of rediculous range bonuses. According to QuickFit My Thrasher can reach out to 75km with nothing but T1 280mms. And a Cormorant can make it to over 100km. Something strange going on with those calcualtions.
