Much easier to just use a torrent client native to whatever platform you're on, rather than having to run the BTDNA crap through wine, where it often fails. If anybody has the 1.4GB patch or full installer sitting around, please post it to gameupdates.org since CCP doesn't know what they're doing. This is like M$ with the Windows 7 downloads...

Once I cleaned out some space, I was able to patch. I don't think it was that bad, but then again, I was doing repeated patching for SISI anyway. heh For those who are doing multiple clients: Download it once, install it once, and then copy that directory to wherever else you want. But you get better performance out of a single directory, at least IMHE. -- Kismeteer, carebear extraordinaire

When I go to the manual patch page, it asks for version number, and my version is apparently 75883, but that's not on the "current version" list. Now what do I do? Full reinstall? (I posted this as a separate post and was told to post it to this thread. Not sure why -- I thought this whole board was for feedback and patch notes. It doesn't make sense to put all the different issues in one thread -- then a person has to read 21 (so far) pages of unrelated problems to see if their question was already answered, instead of simply finding a similar thread topic)

I would also suggest CCP post the md5 checksums of all the files that are in the bit torrents floating around, this may be a real bonus day for key loggers. I have the client build for quantum rise 75883 however it will not auto download when i open the client and i get an error at server status "incompatible(version)" has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it please help thanks
