Edited by: MarthaStuart on 13/03/2008 05:39:30 Edited by: MarthaStuart on 13/03/2008 05:36:51 So what you are saying is BoB should apologize for having their act together and organized and have very active and dedicated pvpers and good leadership and a solid backbone and strong industry and a capital fleet? Dread fleets own titans. You cover more time zones than BoB. Take another system. Its clear that NOL was well defended, if you keep hurting your head by running into a wall, change drivers or change locations for now, like u did in Qy6. Sadly BoB should apologize for not suiciding their fleets in QY6 amirite? Dont blame the lag it works both ways, AFAIK BOB was attacking and called it off due to lag, so obviously it went your (RSF and co) way.
And stop blaiming the Titans. BoB used and still use theirs properly, most of EvE didn't. Again they should apologize for that too maybe. Oh wait lets ask CCP to nerf them. Sure you killed one of their Titans, but look how fast they fielded another and did not relaly whine about it forever. So far only BoB and RA had the balls to use their Titans. For those who have a clue, Titans are not godlike and arent immune to lag ( the DD button need to be clicked to work, its not auto). A 30 minute window as you said is more than enough to jump in a fleet, so get ure act together and stop whining you give everyone a headache with these dumbass threadnaughts about how you cant win eve.
Love ♥

Let's compare what needs to happen for a Doomsday and a normal weapon when warping into a battle:
Normal weapon: -Drop out of warp -Load grid -Lock target -Activate weapon
Doomsday weapon: -Drop out of warp -Activate weapon
Is that so hard to understand ?

Not really. But no one forces you to have all your ships at one place all at once. Lag will be as bad for the titan pilot when he has fired his weapon if you keep bringing in more pilots.

Nothing is the issue with cynojammers.
Only because goons are too stupid to take it down with t1 frigs and shuttles and because they start a huge whine (again) it doesn't change things.
History shows that there are many cyno jammers killed already successfully. Or how do you think BoB + allies lost all their space? By not setting up cyno jammers?
Also Tri killed various cyno jammers, RA did it. AAA killed them, Razor killed them also.
There is nothing wrong with the jammers. There is something wrong with the attackers. Throwing zillions of useless t1 crap at the cyno jammer and then whining about lag is really beyond being stupid
Wait, you've never actually been to 0.0 space, have you.

Id actually like the cynojammer issue to be tested in real time and a real war by an alliance with some real tactical skill cos lets face it GOONS failing at something is hardly an indication of a broken game or mechanic.

Your the one who claims to have such great intel on BOB's inner working that you know about leadership emo rages and mayor offensives that you can score mayor victories against so you should already know their plans.

I DID answer it i just DID NOT answer it the way you wanted although when i DID speak to a few dudes from BOB i know they were quite tight lipped about any offensives they are planning, although we both knew before hand id not actually tell you anyway. Damn look at all those emocons you really are hard up for anything you can spin as any sort of win aint ya?.

The important part, and the POINT of the whole sentence is highlighted. Thanks for explaining how things work though. The Titan pilot also needs to load properly like all people to be able to click his DD, and not to mention he needs to be able the WARP AWAY OR JUMP OUT, which is HARD during lag, keeping im mind any hostile fleet with brains and balls would call him primary and try to get him since he is carrying a big SHOOT ME SIGN I CANNOT JUMP OUT FOR 1 HOUR. Of course brining ships that matter would increase ure performance instead of crashing the system with t1 friggies and noob ships ( i thought the noob ships thing became a myth or something of older goon days at one point but i was proved wrong a couple of times). So yea, you try to understand
Love Martha

There's a good writeup about it. The main problem is that you can easily have a capital fleet (who can get into the system via a series of jumpbridges) defend the cynojammer that can only be attacked by BS's. Okay that's fine, but when you can fit upwards of 30-40 faction medium guns it becomes increasing difficuit. And after incaping the cynojammer, you have about 30 minutes before they blow up the cynojammer and just anchor a new one.
You must live on the forums ms forum spamer no1 .

Martha, AFAIK Shrike had his DDD on AutoRepeat the last time people caught him. I know it seemed that way, as in spite of the 20min+ lag we still got hit with Doomsdays every hour.
In that sense, Titans actually have LESS problem dealing with lag.
BTW: What's up with your hair? You go Butch when you were in prison?

So much back & forth in this thread. All this bluster from all sides doesn't matter, CCP has already said they don't like the current cynojammer mechanics & didn't mean for them to be 'something you get sov 3 & leave on'.
They are going to get changed. Its just a matter of 'how & when' at this point.

Hellooooooo! A DD every hour, so you get a consensus in your fleet of how much lag there is. If there is 20 mins lag on average, you click the DD button 20 minutes before cooldown comes up, logical no?
