I used an xl with flux coils, cap recharchers and shit, overtanked so badly.. But now, with the same setup as you, I have about ~85% resistance in the two specific tanked resistances I need for lets say Angel Extra, and ONLY when I accidently hit 2 triggers and the screen is getting crowded, I need to activate the 2nd Small booster.. Love it mate, thanks alot!

Anna Tilton	Posted - 2008.08.31 17:52:00 - [880] Need good skills, but I've grown to love this setup: 6x t2 Cruise 1xHeavy dim Nos 1xAuto Targeter I (don't turn this on, +2 targets is nice) 1x t2 Xl-shield Booster 1x t2 Cap Booster w/800's 2x T2 Invul fields (to avoid swapping hardners, tank is not as good as below but more than enough for many lvl 4's) 2x t2 SBA's 3x t2 BCU's 1x t2 Co Pro 1x Domination BCU (if want DPS, t2 won't fit - but it's pretty cheap) or t2 DC (if want tank or have less than max skills) If want to swap hardners then set up mids: 1x t2 XL-booster 1x t2 Cap Booster w/800's 1x T2 Invul field 2x t2 Mission specific Hardners 1x t2 SBA of course: 3xCCC I's 5x t2 Hammerheads Advantages: 1) Cheap - not really worth ganking 2) Good DPS especially w/4xBCU's - I only use DC II when soloing very DPS heavy missions 3) Tank will last as long as cap boosters do and a very long time using the Nos (the only mission I consistently use boosters on is AE bonus room) You can swap out for faction and lose the CoPro, but then you're bringing ganking back into the picture. That might be worth it after the next patch, but in the motsu/dodi areas ganking will probably still be popular. Inevitably, everyone overtanks the raven at first, sacrificing DPS and then complaining about performance. This setup can't handle full stage aggro in Mordus HH4, second room, but with controling aggro, it can handle every mission, no matter where the agent is.

I use this fit currently, i realize it's an immensely expensive setup, but then again i reinvest my mission cash and LP into faction gear. As i c it the only really sensible way to deal with frigs are to leave the ones my drones don't chew thrue for last then retract my drones and activate my smarties. That finishes them of quickly and easy. As some will notice, this is basically a Perma tank run T2 fit, that has been replaced by Faction Gear as i could afford em. If u dont want to spend this amount of cash, then no problem just replace the faction gear with their T2 versions, as that is what this setup originated from. My Fit: (High) 6x Caldari Navy Cruise Launcher. 2x Caldari Navy Large Graviton Bomb. Learn to use cap boosters, they are cheap and raven has big cargo space, so carrying like 10-12 in cargo won't hurt, plus 5 would be in the booster itself, this will help you do almost all missions. here is a sample setup to get you going, swap hardeners for mission specific rats. Using the 3% range/rof implants and the 3% damage implant I get 41.4 range with 923 torp dps. Using the same with jav's I get 678 dps at 62.1 range. Tanks approx 650 dps, can improve that by playing with the hardners/boost amps. Cap stable at 38%. Total ship cost under 200m.

Without ccc cap booster is necessary in order to tank with a XL booster. and i like the extra resist that the DC give me.

It's more than enough to tank the level 4 missions (the few I've done since I got the raven a few days ago). I've had to use a PDU2 to maintain cap stability but that's only because my skills are too low at the moment. As far as hardeners go, I like 1 Photon Scattering 2 and 2 Invulnerability Field 2s if I'm assuming 3-4 different damage types. Otherwise, I adjust to rat-specific hardeners for missions. Also, I like 5 light drones (for frigates) and 2 heavy drones (for battleships).
