Congrats on 4 years.
My most memorable moment was when i first tried 0.0 life out. Joined an alliance, went down to their space. Bought my first Dominix and was so shocked at the size of the NPC rats, having come straight from empire.

-Reading about Eve for the first time in Edge Magazine and thinking 'oh my word this game is for me'
-Attending the first London Eve Fanmeet in 2002 in a pub in Hammersmith and getting to see the client for the first time.
-Getting Beta key a month later and getting to the top 5 bug reporters list (half_face was my id).
-playing for the first time and not having a clue what to do
-staring in awe at my first rifter
-running in horror the first time I saw an NPC cruiser
-being attacked by a pirate for the first time (Lord Zap)
-shaking after being podded for the the first time (Mirial in Curse)
-the beauty of a gang warp
-meeting freinds and enemies at the london meets and last years fanfest (then singing "One Hundred Thousand" all the way home)
-working with MC during the pirate war of 9UY
-writing intergalactic posts on my lunch breaks
10 more years!

First i would like to say Happy Birthday to everyone that was in the game on launch day.I was in Beta and had ordered EVE from a software company.I did not make it in till the 20th of May because they sent me the worng game,something like midEVEal total war.
The best memory was when MASS and a few other corps had to kill some Jovien to get one of the first Miner2 bpo.Or mining in 0.0 space with a bunch of frigates and the guards were only cruisers.

Been in game 3 years now (28th April 2004).
Most memorable moments:
- Mining all the minerals for my first Raven
- First jump into 0.0
- First jump into 0.0, where I wasin an alliance and not toasted by a gatecamp
- Winning my first 1 on 1
- Loosing my first ship in a situation that wasn't an out-and-out gank.

My most memorable event was the first time I killed a player in "cold blood"
I decided after 11 months vacation from EvE to become a pirate ... I quickly fitted my geddon and went out hunting.
I entered a system and saw 5 targets and decided to scan and found a maller npc-ing in a belt.
I warped in on him and scrammed and webbed him and shot him down ... I felt this wierd rush in killing the innocent npc-er and the mail that followed made my day

Most memorable moments?
Jeez, EveTV is certainly up there at the top:
Meeting so many famous names, getting drunk with them, and roaming Reykjavik with them.
Being on tv was surreal. Hi mom.
Waaaaaay too much Jack Daniels.
In Eve though, every time has been great. A lot of us play computer games as a form of escapism, but when you can meet and get on with so many people, like-minded or not, online in such the living breathing universe that Eve is, you realise it's less escapism and more a journey; a successful search to find (and most times shoot) people all over the world who believe in Eve.
I'm forever gonna regret that I missed the first year, thanks to university, but what I've seen grow in Eve will stick with me for the rest of my life. Hopefully Eve will be around when/if I have children and they grow old enough to play it too. If not, I'll be telling them, as humanity only just begins to reach for the stars, that I used to gank people among the stars when I was their age, in a living, breathing, real Eve.
To CCP and the players, all the support and effort that goes into Eve; may it continue for at least another 4 more years and onwards.
Good girls go to Heaven. Bad girls get drunk and pew pew in Delve. |

Well I'm only 8 mo old, but my best memory is the first time I got podded. 2nd day of eve in a shuttle flying through low sec. Someone tries to target me from 150 km away so i think nothing of it... then I'm in the station with some new mail. Every time I lose a ship or get podded I complain about this being the worst game ever, but I'm sure my 4 year anniversary will come soon enough. Thanks for a great game! |

Altho i have to say that back when I had my old char and we were wtfsieging Aunenen was the most fun and memorable moment ever. Largest single corp slaughterfest ever. Then the naughty GM's made us leave. GMs dont love us, they love others more. *Cries*

Some of the memmories I'll keep to the day I die..
The point where I sat back and realised.. Whoah.. Theres more to this game than just grinding..
The first pvp encounter where my hand shook so much I was bearly able to keep ahold of my mouse 
My first reasonable sized fleet fight.. (We got pwned! :D)
Escorting Freighters in 0.0 that held both the minerals/trade goods and the outpost platform, we had spent months and months of time building, and then having to defend off a RA sniper group with dictor support that slowed us at every gate.. 
Mining all the minerals for my carrier. 
But above all... 2 years on.. I've met many of my corp mates in RL.. and will continue to play many games in the future with this great group of people.
Thank you CCP for having the balls to create a game.. that wont appeal to the majority.. but sure as hell keeps a sizeable group of people very happy.

Most memorable event:
Going into 0.0 for the first time when my old corp joined Phoenix Alliance back in the day. Hairs on the back of my neck stood up and my heart was pumping.
I can't begin to imagine another game having such an effect.
For all the things that need fixing, for all the things people complain about, EVE is the defenition of a unique gaming experience.

I guess most memorable moment was having first Prophecy blown up by Concord cause some jerk flew into my smart bomb trying to take my loot. But really, the best part about this game is all of the people from all around the world that have become friends. I was at a RL friend's wedding (he also plays Eve) and he had several Eve friends attend, that was pretty cool.

I started about 1 year ago. And I still remember when I had finished downloading it ... Setting up account and launched game.
Cursing my way through the tutorial and coming out alive to the other side ...
And being stunned by the beauty of space. _Exactly_ how I would have made it (if I could  ). I can still undock and just sit out in the space watching the stars, and the beautiful colors
To the devs and gms : Thank you for making me able to be in space without having to leave my apartment
Thank you for making a game that after 1 year still kicks me in the ass and calls me noob
Thank you for a game that pushes me to the limit ALOT, making me curse, laugh and going insane all together at the same time

Zombie's siege of yulai, First time I got ganked there.
Lots of stuff is memorable (first gank), and some stuff I'd rather forget (First time I got ganked)

Most memorable... I gues that was when after a long time without the most beloved first Space MMORPG, Earth and Beyond, I found EVE... I signed up after just ten hours of playing...

Four years, how time flies.
Fondest memories are the fights with Capt Pugwash and friends in Fountain/Aridia, and the night Jim Raynor chased me through Outer Ring in my very early noob days (I got away with about 4% structure). Also many old corpmates who I hope are doing well.
Sadly I don't get much time to play right now, but Happy Birthday EVE, the best online game around.

Happy Birthday Eve and thanks CCP for two years of the most visually stunning enjoyment ever.
Most memorable Event is taking part in the Eden Continuum competition in conjunction with Eve Radio. Thanks to DJ Stora and DJ Malone. Made many friends and had such fun.
I think I'll never get tired of just sitting in a ship by a moon and enoying the beauty of eve space.

Four years! And to think I've been playing for most of that.
Congrats, and may we have many more.
I'd have to say there were two good memories. The first was my first trip to the Eve gate. Just sitting and looking at how nice it looks.
The second one was logging in from work one day to train a skill in AZN and hearing "Cyvok's here in a Titan!", undocking in the fastest ship in my hanger and hanging around the Titan, making excuses to not fix computers.

Yarr, the best MMORPG in the world has hit 4 years, and going strong =)
Best moment? seeing the eve gate for the first time.....i stood in that system for an hour staring at that gate, all the time thinking, im going to work for CCP when i grow up
still, the firsts are the best, my first view of a titan, first cap ship jump i witnessed, first pod kill, first blood, first time over 2 k/s all those good times =)

My favorite moment is sitting there tanking a Noob Carrier pilot in my passive tanked ferox for like 5 mins, just gives you a warm fuzzy feeling when you can tank a 1 billion plus ship with one worth less than a 100 mil.

Probably my most memorable moment is when my corporation lost its first dreadnought and everyone was in the dumps, so i said lets go kill something. We had every member in our corp chat undock in their combat ships and the first thing we found was a noob ship, poor little noob ship LOL.

Iv got 3 amazing memorys,
1. having my very first corps sunday morning low sec mining op trashed by tank ceo in the noob days, so much fun even if we did loose our first corp apoc haha
2. when me and jester engaged a 24 man CVA fleet of cruisers and ceptors, I tanked em in my dominix and Jester was spamming missiles from 50km out killed about 12 the rest ran hahaha
3. would be new years day 2007 engaged 2 bs on a gate, killed em, they called in reinforcments and they showed up just too late  ended up killing 2 geddons a domi an apoc a harpy and a ferox, then wished em a happy new year in my flaming domi as they all jumped their pods out hahaha

Mining with my corp in imicuses with an indy, we were one of the first corps to get one and were stripping belts so we coudl afford an exequeror BPO :D
That and killing ASCN's titan :)
