My 1st day in eve i undocked in my noob ship for the 1st time and my brother was waiting outside the station in his domi.....i thought ill shoot him for fun....there was a big flash....i said to him...wtf was that....he was laughing saying the sentrys just shot you seeing as u cant shoot people in empire....ect ect....been hooked ever since then.

Firstly, a very Happy Birthday to CCP & the EVE universe. The best game I have ever played and the only game that has engaged me for a solid few years. Whether i sneak onto the game at work and avoid the boss or persuading my girl friend that EVE is not a mistress or a threat to her.....  Keep up the great work CCP and see you at the 10th Anniversary .... 
I have two memorable moments.
1. The acquisition of my first Chimera Carrier and then its subsequent loss a few days later in a battle in FDZ..... what a learning curve that was .....
2. The all out battle my Corps(LYF) had dismantling our Large POS in WH-2EZ. Whilst unanchoring the POS we were jumped by WRECK an all out battle ensued with the loss of several ships. It was a heart thumping business with me threading my Badger through a raging battle at the gate to get into WH-2EZ to pick up the POS. All the while there were ships popping all over the place but the POS was scooped and saved.....
On a seperate note my Corpies had a similar battle a few days before dismantling our 2nd Large POS. Although not there to see it, the battle that raged was won by the sudden appearence of 3 Alliance Carriers which turned the tables in our favour. The heart stopping moment here was that the Corpie that was picking up the Unanchored POS missed it first time round and the enemy did scoop it into their Industrial, by all accounts the screams over team speak to kill the industrial were numerous and clamorous. The enemy industrial was destroyed by the fighters from the carrier, hearts were low as the expectation was we had lost our POS in the exploding wreck, but, on inspecting the can the POS was in there waiting for us.....
Heart stopping moments and when considering that there were players from 4 different continents playing and talking absolutly brilliant.
I raise a glass of Quaff to CCP and wish you the best and bring us all more fun in the future...

Best moment? Probably when I got into my first Battleship. It was a Scorp, and I just flew around and looked at it for about an hour.

I still stay up way too late and play. Although, if memory serves, I lost that Scorp to a guy in a Moa

my most memorable moment was getting the crap ganked outta me in my myrmidon , i made it away from a group of pure just in time to dock in badi and be safe, then said to myself, "aww hell, why wait?" and proceeded to try to get back to Ed-... yeah... went pretty well until i jumped into 30 guys on the 3-F gate.
Never knew a game could give you that big an adrenaline rush, lol.

Most memorable event? Buying the game 4 years ago then forgetting to actually sign upto Eve, only remembering I had bought it about 18 months ago, then signing up, doh!!!

I guess my Most Memorable Moment was when I was listed in Concord's Most Wanted List. I came in 5th but oh well. 4 years of eve, 4 years of syndic4te.

My most memorable events:
1) When I joined ALMPC. We were staged in Sotrentaira and had quite a few wars going. I remeber getting into my BB and thinking this is going to be fun. We got 2 hostiles 1 jump away and we went there (about 5-8 men). They had a sniping apoc and zealot if I remember correctly. The zealot jumped on the gate and we all engaged, no real damage but still, it was fun
Then in comes the apoc and starts to target us, thanks to beeing barely out of my range I couldnt put ecm's on him and was instapopd
Was fun though
2) second is when My ex CEO Nende was flying a raven in Alparena and talked about all the pierats in there...damn that raven seemed so far away at that time
3) When FREGE moved to itsnew home and I got my raven up thereto rat in 0.0. I was off a few days and my insurance expired, so I tried to get it back to empire..ofc everything isnt as simple as it seems
We had a hostile gang jump in and try take our POS's out. At first I thought I'm not gonna risk it, but then..what the hell. First we met on the gate..they jumped they'r carriers and support inand started pounding on us..we tried to fight back bu we were outgunned
So when they cleared the gate they started to pop the POS's. they got 2 I think and then went home..and I got a chance to get my raven to empire nice and safe
4) Who could forget meeting my corpmates. Its been nice to know em and hopefully this will continue

Most memorable event - ?
Asking CCP for help and being told they wouldn't. And today we find a greeting when logging in warning us against eula violations.. Well I for one don't like threats implied or otherwise and it is no way to treat your customers. In case you have forgotten, CCP - it is us who put the food on your tables!

My most memorable moment was the first fight for a POS I was in. I was in SKV and we were attacking a -A- pos in Stain somewhere. I remember coming out of warp and seeing two large fleets of mostly BS and a good amount of cap ships slugging it out. I was really impressed to many people fighting and the image stuck with me.

I think my most memorable event in eve was when I escape my self from a large bubble (with command ship) in nano-velator, I warped out just when I went to go out of the bubble and a missile was lauched and never hit me because the warp gang was launched just when the missile was on my rookie :) And I was without upgraded clone too.
Thx CCP for a so GREAT game...

I'd have to say the most memorable experiences in EvE relate to T20, Sharkbait, and Admiral Charmawhatsis and allegations of cheating/favoritism/underhandedness.
Which is sad, because EvE is such a great game.
I'm just an Alt....but my main doesn't have a sig either.

You got to know in the game I'm a miner producer researcher but my best moment?? well when i got my first pvp kill in a destroyer agains a BS and gotten 3 T2 items from it :)
Ii was salvaging in the destroyer when an alliance gate camp asked for assistance.I was the last ship flying that night :) it was bs against bs (gallante tier 2 against min tier2) i used 3 railguns and a standard missle launcher. Never imagined that i could do damage to a bs but idid and i was alive to tell about it
the other best part was when I finnaly could afford a RAVEN bpo :p

Most memorable moments was, the first time I took my BC for a spin. When I first built my very own BS from scratch. Oh and when I saw a capital jump in, that was freaking awesome. Sad moments that overshadow these are however present. T20 and the funky BPO's and shabby dealings over MSN between players and developers..

Happy 4th one EVE.
My own most memorable moment was the first serious deepsapce run...12 industrials, 3 battleships, 30 odd jumps into a POS station in deepspace. The tension of knowing we had enemies on every side and attacks all the way was just amazing! 
Other than that, watching each new patch and seeing Amarr firepower and comabt ability being reduced to slag - after suffering at the hands of the gankageddon for so long, I can finally fight them in my beloved scrapheaps.

4 years, and I had to wait almost one year until the game was on the website to download and try a free trial. 3 days after, I was paying already because I knew this would be the game I would play for the next years.
Now, the most memorable thing... there are too many.
Probably the most memorable will be the VV-VCR battle JQA against Supremacy and their allies. It was my first fleet battle, the lag was not an issue, and I actually survived, probably because I had to leave for work and had to log off.
The second, me arriving back to the PC after answering the door and finding myself in a pod, oops that ship that I workded for the last 3 months was gone. That was my first tempest death of many to come ^_^
The third? Being part of the team building an Avatar 
EDIT:
Fourth, trying to find Swelter's Ibis in 98-Q and just to find out the damn Ibis was inside the sun!
Fifth, 4 hours of mwding to find an armageddon in querious, great freebie though

I'd have to say my most memorable event has to be when I first successfuly threaded my helios out of a bubble in doril populated by 40 or so red flashies, even after having been decloaked by a ceptor.
of course I had to take a clonopin afterwards to calm down...

- Waiting to be able to get the CD-key for EVE from a beta-friend in England, a week in total agony after retail started.
- Mining enough ISK to buy a Scorp BPO in 24 hours with Bladerunners in June 2003
- Getting my first BS in early July 2003 (Scorp)
- First "fleet" fight against EVOL/Xanadu in Fountain outside the MN5N-something station when I was in Bladerunners
- Hunting pirates in Aunenen before sentries were in low sec (Oh joy, the JIPs!)
- Having to re-learn all I thought I knew about PvP when I joined Cult of Cthulhu, where I soon realized I was a total n00b compared to these guys.
- Realizing that size doesn't matter when it comes to small corps vs. huge alliances.
- Making eve movies and the CoC "be"-series
- Starting Omniscient Order with ioctl, and being so priviledged to be able to recruit great PvP'ers from day one.
- And last but certainly not least: Having had the priviledge to fight alongside ioctl, a truly brilliant fighter and good friend. R.I.P. Ben.

The moment when i started to play EVE and after 1 month of missions i boored and came to Agil to join UA Industry where were my friend - Hassis. Before I joined I contacted WRWR and Corak who were flying near station in Agil on battleships and they took me to H-ADOC, i flyed my first pvp Vigil ) They said - i can try catch anyone, even friendlys, but I failed and didnt catch even BS. It maked me angry and i start to work hard on my tacking and become best RA tacker in 1 month of playing in RA. That day in H-ADOC is my most memorable day.
24/7 The Five's pos shooting in Cache
Epic battles for C-J6MT (RA Prime) against LV,V,KOS,ASCN, etc.
The others are lots of battles where i took part. It were in empire against SAS and VoC when i decided to train t2 Megathron, fights in UB5, F-EM and other.
