Interesting topic, but drifted too far away.
I'm curious too, how you can set up a double-succesful login trap 3 times in a 10 minutes timeframe in systems that are 5 min away from eachother for a recon. Not to mention battleship, even as agile as Mach.
Also, crappy internet? With KpD ratio 30:1? I wouldn't even rat if I have such crappy internet that breaks me from game every 3 min. Having such internet connection and do PvP - and success... double success... many times in a row - it's just unbelievable. Proof or didn't happened. -- Thanks CCP for cu |

He doesn't need to log off.
He simply needs to find the belt they were ratting in and wait with the Arazu. Hell he could even pop probes and get the area around the belt probed out and ready. This way even if someone was at the controls and logged off a second time he could get the warp-able hit before the ship disappeared to get aggro.

You have obviously never tried to catch macros. Most macros these days don't logoff but rather go to a safespot and cloak when a hostile comes in local. When you leave they wait an amount of time (that can be set on the bot so varies) and then can be set to return to a random belt.
You don't know when they are going to return to ratting and you don't know which belt.
How do you catch them with logoffskies then genius?
I don't think you can.
The bot I am referring to has over 2000 registered users and it has ALL these features (they also detect deployable bubbles).

heh, well, seeing as monkey was given the exploit by an australian who was given the exploit by a russian, I find it rather amusing that russians think its all about them. oh and the american has the IRC chat logs

Evidently you need to have an unstable Estonian internet connection that lets you hide in local.
As for your very interesting research and sales pitch for botting software, you are aware that these options that you talk about may be buggy? you cant wildly claim exploits without evidence, killmails are not evidence. i.e: Monkeysphere is a monkey, some monkeys are crack addicts; therefor Monkeyshere is a crack addict.

With 2000 people using them I think the developers would find bugs, it's possible there are bugs but I highly doubt it. Didn't mean to make it a sales pitch, I don't like macros at all, partly because whatever I try I can never kill them.

I am actually not sure if this is just a massive troll (enter notsureifserious.jpg here).
I actually think it is a joint-eve.ru-troll-attempt while sucking monkeysphere's balls.
I do think that it is pretty awesome what he's doing and I am not completely sure how he does it, but the amount of stereotypic trolling in here is just plain awesome.

Just because he killed them doesn't mean every kill he gets happens to be a ambush trap. People kill ships even different systems with in minutes of each other all the time.
He could of caught them on a gate.. He might have got lucky and caught one hung up on a asteroid. No one knows but him, everything else is speculation with out all the facts.
If you see him killing ships that fast over and over then yea, it's likely a problem. However you can never put off random targets just showing up, out of no where on your lucky day. Stuff like that happens sometimes.
I'm not saying he does it the way I mentioned, I was just speculating on how might be able to do it with out logging off. Just like the others are accusing him of hacking, they are speculating that he's cheating.
Hell, for all we know those 3 KM's might of been borked. I had a KM last week that was generated with out a time or date. I had to add the time and date in order to post the mail.

rawr gets the first cookie for seeing the connection, now the question is since its been goin on for 2 years, doesnt ccp really condone this exploit so long as it stays in only a few hands and gets used only in the remote macro areas of space. the only proof you need is in the kb's
anyone who has tried to hunt a macro knows the odds of catching 3 or four in a row, let alone filling a kb with kills in a one hour span. there is no log on trap or legitimate way to accomplish this task.

rawr gets the cookie...
kbs dont lie, anyone who has hunted macros knows how hard it is to catch one, let alone 3 or 50! in a rapid succession. the evidence is there, so the question is does ccp even care so long as it stays in the hands of only a few people using it to kill macroers who atm are a far greater problem than the exploit.

He has been petitioned multiple times in the past as well as the present. CCP say that what he does is fine.
Just because you don't know how he does it, doesn't make it an exploit.

I'm curious but skeptical.
Has anyone bothered to ask the actual guy who made the kills about how he did it?

So if what he does is not considered an exploit by CCP would anyone mind posting exactly it is what he does or link to a page in English (if at all possible)?

Did you bother to look at the KM's? I sure as hell didn't see many cloaks fitted on the ships he's killing. There was one Golem on the first page of his kill stats but the t3's and most of the other didn't have cloaks fitted.

DAY OF ALL THE HAX
THIS IS THE STORY OF A DAY WHERE THERE WAS ALL THIS HAX. A MAN WAS WALKING AROUND AND HAX STARTED COMING OUT OF HIM EVERYWHERE. THERE WAS SO MUCH HAX THAT IT FILLED UP AN ELEVATOR. HE WENT TO THE STORE AND THERE WAS JUST HAX ALL OVER THE PLACE! PEOPLE WERE SLIPPING IN IT AND THEY WERE ALL GROSSED OUT. HE TRIED TO GO SWIMMING AND ALL OF THE SHARKS WENT NUTS AND BITTENED EVERYBODY. HE GOT CHASED BY ALL THE VAMPIRES EVER. ONE TIME THE HAX GOT A KID AND A DOG. AT THE END OF THE DAY EVERYONE DECIDED THEY WOULD SEND HIM TO SPACE SO THAT HE WOULD STOP GETTING HAX EVERY WHERE. THE SCARIEST PART IS THAT THE MAN WAS ME, THE MONKEYSPHERE!!! (OR HE WAS A LADY IF YOU ARE A LADY) AND YOU FORGOT THAT THIS HAPPENED

You are correct they don't seem to but most macros I have seen do use cloaks and don't log off. He kills ones with cloaks too so it still can't be some login trap.
