Go to chribba's new sell order forum, I guess. If Wrangler's post is anything to go by, it's officially supported by CCP, not that they're actually paying anything toward Chribba's hosting bills or anything. And I'd bet it's not moderated at all.

What problem is being fixed by closing down the forums? This seems to be not a well thought out idea. Please leave the trade forums alone!
If this is still going to go ahead then contracts MUST be modified to allow bidding from remote regions. If that is not done then trade in EVE will significantly be reduced.

i think they cannot change it back because it would imply that they're admitting they're stupid and didn't think it through, they're probably going to give us some new alternative and talk about it like it's some amazing new tool that does the job better when really it just makes the whole thing harder and wasted everybody's time.

CCP could you make a voting system for the paying customers of eve and let everyone vote i think it would be a great idea for you to see what your customers think. Also other then all the people trying to scam are you sure your server is going to be able to handle the excess hits its going to get in the contracts or is that what your looking for ? Im just hoping that you troll this thread and comment to me i would apreciate it thanks.
On another note the reason alot of people use the trading forum is that they meat people in game that have the gear they need off and on ounce they meet here its easier for them to make transactions at a later date. It also helps people by exposing the people that are not selling what they say they are. Last thing there are many people that try to scam on this game with contracts im just affraid more people will fall for these scams without this forum i dont use it much myself but its a great asset. Look at the people that are at work and cannot acess there auctions this allows them to see there game and do things while not being on the gamming computer so to speak. To me this seems like a really bad idea for alot of members but i guess the real proof will be in the amount of complaints in this post since there is no voting system.

There is no official Sale Order forum anymore. Chribba has a Sale Orders just like SHC, but they arent official and you will have to create new accounts there. Chribba is talking about putting in the Eve API ey so you can authenticate your identity, but there will still be problems with enforcing any forum rules there. No moderators means its going to be a mess.
I think most people will actually try to use the hated Contracts now, which was the intention, but they will not be happy.

Automated scripts, and a back end database to record retrieved data.
Leaving open the possibility to do analysis on it.
Oh also. allowing me to surf the contracts system at work now that they are cutting off my Sell Forum addiction.

Of course, we could prolly EBAY too. I mean after all, didn't CCP break a EULA'esque thing by doing this? (yeah it's a stretch but used to demonstrate CCCP, err CCP stupidity. [no strike at our russian friends I promise, only against Communis, err Eveism])

If you suspect anyone is impersonating you, you can change it at any time and no-one else can get the new one until you've given it to them yourself (afaik). This could easily be enforced by making the forum refuse to accept any one key for more than a month at a time.

What a nice little surprise when I logged on today. Who's the moron who came up with this one? The contract system may be better than the old system, but it's still horribly inefficient in comparison to the sell forums. In addition, the sell forums allowed people working to check on their auctions every once in a while without having to physically log onto the Eve client.
By far one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen made by CCP. Overwhelming player input on this thread should key you to the fact that this move is unanimously denounced.
