I remember reading that this patch "will not contain a single nerf", yet the faction passive shield resist amps all got nerfed. Ex., DG magnetic scattering amp used to give 40%, now its 37.5%, same at t2.
Also, Pithum C-type Magnetic Scattering Amplifier is now BETTER than the B-Type! They both give 39% resist, but the C-Type uses LESS cpu than the B-Type does... what sense does that make?
I'm sure these aren't the only modules to get nerfed.. is this an accident? perhaps the tables got shifted somehow?
cmon, u asking why????
because devs are liars. they telling **** about patch, they telling **** about bugs....they simply and they extreme stupid...
they told us they need nerf armor res for amarr, because bad dps on armor tank and because armor tank is much more used in pvp. Stupid idea..... if they in same time nerf shield res and than shield res modules too.... Maybe amarr get a little bit extra dps, but minmatar get even more and the shield tank would even less used in pvp.... stupid stupid stupid

If you on the day of deployment suddenly realise you need more testing, you just DON'T need 'just one more day'. It just doesn't happen!
If this patch had been properly developed and tested, a few WEEKS before planned launch a release candidate with a frozen feature set would have been on Sisi to test. It would then have gone through one or more test cycles before being proclaimed ready for release. Instead, it seems like new fixes were added up to the last moment, which is a sure recipe for disaster.
CCP really should get some software PROCESS professionals to look over how they develop their game, because what they're doing now seems to be software hacking, not software development.
100% agree if my developers in the company would do such thing i would fire them all.. We have frozen codes months before a release

If you want to do your part to make sure patches go smoother, more people need to hop on sisi and try out more than new pvp ship setups. I have an idea.
Why doesn't CCP give isk rewards to people who contribute to beta testing? Like give them specific tasks to complete in beta testing, have a GM on sisi monitoring each person's progress, and give them isk on TQ?

I have noticed that if i modify my overview settings (or use any saved profile i have) and dock, after i undock the profile i used is no longer in action and the default is activated.

The Only issue I am suffering with is that when I undock the whole screen seems to be frozen up and I can't move my view. The station even follows me to the asteroid belt. I can still mine but I can't keep an eye out for anyone getting a bit too close and nicking my ore.
I am not suffering with this overview problem many of you are having and for this I am happy as it would be truely annoying.
A small suggestion to CCP, How about much smaller patches on a more regular basis that actually work rather than these monster ones that don't.

Actually after nearly the whole day yesterday vainly trying every client-side solution I could dream up (some you you may actually have to read previous posts if you want to know what they all were), and not managing to get FPS sorted or 2 clients stable enough to run at lvl4 'proper', and given that there has been nothing at all by way of comment from CCP on these serious issues, I have to now agree with the most negative of the posts above - and the most positive of suggestions directly above this: 1. Don't try big patches in future til you have fully tested the patch. 2. Roll back this horrible patch and break it down before reintroducing it. Frankly I don't see the point of anythingin it as it stands. Yes EVE was broke and needed fixing before it, but now it's far worse. And if you don't want to see posts like this (assuming you actually read them) try acknowledging issues raised by your customers. This forum post is now 17 pages long with not so much as a word from CCP. I can't think of any other provider hosted forum which would be ignored for so long by the host, whateverthe circumstances or priorities of workload: there is always 5 minutes to let your customers know you are taking what they are saying on board! |

It is the deafening silence that I find most offensive as a customer. I have never called a CCP developer an a**hole, never claimed their team is stupid, indeed never hurled personal insults at any CCP employee. I have, however, raised the valid concern that many of us feel ignored as paying customers, and posed the very simple question: When will this practice end?
Seventeen pages without a word is unacceptable from a customer service standpoint. If EVE were a product that didn't require customers to pay each and every month, I could understand (though not excuse) such an abhorrent lack of effort to build a relationship with the customer base. Oddly enough, CCP doesn't even send out the automated e-mail asking to retain your business when you close your account, and while some may find such things obnoxious, it illustrates a serious lack of concern toward those of us who feel so defeated that we've abandoned any hope that CCP will address the issues that are important to us.
Asking - indeed begging (for years) - for a game to retain its user configurations is one of the squeakiest wheels to date, yet it is never greased. As a customer, I would be satisfied if CCP would simply assure me that they are definitely going to address these concerns, and give some idea as to how they will go about it, with a reasonable timeframe for resolution.
Frankly, I would have been satisfied if a CCP representative simply said, "We are aware of [insert issue here] and we are making every effort to repair it within [insert reasonable ETA here]," by page 2-3 of this thread.

CCP Still hasn't learned anything! Another extended downtime a day after the troubled booster patch and now their rushing to fix another problem. I won't be surprised if something else breaks during the process. C'mon CCP put some QA process in because there isn't any despite what ever they're saying.

Jeah they like building up their relations with the customer base but only in threads that are not about problems. They appear in fun threads, new feature anounced threads and so on. Perhaps CCP needed something like a forum warrior (like Tarminic) who would just read all the threads then walk into the devs ask them about the problems and post the replies.

The life of a guy playing eve.
Once more CCP have showed us the total arrogance with not replying to anything.
1. How can a game developer install yet another patch where they remove all peoples bm. in the ingame browser, we are people who actually have used the ingame browser a lot.
2. How come ccp everytime they come with a patch get surpriced and make more mistakes than right things now again CCP need to make a emergency patch.
I will say nothing about the nerfs and changes in this thread. just that in my opinion is ccp going in the wrong direction with the game.
I truly hope that CCP will credit us all with one day extra gametime for all this nonsense they are putting us through yet again.

One strange annoying little thing is that since the patch, right clicking on skills which I haven't trained yet in the character sheet has no effect, while right clicking skills in which I do have points works fine.

These problem have only just started after the new patch.

Perhaps the developers have the same attitude as some of the players. We should all quit "whining" that we want a working product (which we pay for), and learn to be grateful.
I'm looking for any reason to give CCP another chance to satisfy me as a customer; I like the game that much. I'm willing to reconfigure the game, re-sort my contact lists, and go through the rest of the usual patch day process ONE more time, if only they'd promise me they won't stick it to me again in the next patch.

Why don't you ppl make a list with issues (I. Install/Game behavior issues something that PREVENTS you from playing the game. II. General patch design "failures" i.e. undocking with max velocity, loss of bookmarks, overview reset and etc.). A simple list of what you find bad after the deployment of the new patch. Let one summarize it all and... post it several hundred times or 'till you get a reply. CCP ppls apparently do not have the sufficient attention span to read through all posts. Alternatively, you can all stop paying for a month or two... Anyway, I noticed that approx 32k players were online yesterday evening and this somehow seems quite the normal load I see every time I log in during week days(but I could be wrong of course) so it seems that there are also quite a lot of ppl who did not have problems.

This, definitely the most annoying bug as they constantly are jumping around. Sorry, but terrible terrible job CCP. How this stuff *constantly* makes it through your Q+A testing makes me honestly wonder if you ever do any testing at all. All of the issues present in this patch are ALL immediately noticeable to even the casual player within moments of logging in. How could you possibly not observe such obvious problems?
Camera issues galore, graphic issues, messed up planets, UI that's now on more ***** than ever, etc. While we appreciate your efforts, come on CCP, you're capable of so much more! =P

Some complaints are valid, some are whines.
Generally, complaining over game balancing is 99 out of 100 times equal to whining. Nerfs/boosts are a normal and required part of any developing game (especially multi-player games) and IMHO none of the game balancing stuff done in this patch are detrimental to the game.
Complaints over broken stuff that prevents you from playing the game or complaints over lack of information are on the other hand seldomly whines, but legitimate complaints.

I have lost 20 FPS since the patch. My corpmates report loss of FPS. Some report the game as unplayable now. I can't run 2 clients on the same box anymore. Please address this issue. If you can not fix this, give us the option of turning off whatever new feature killed our FPS. Otherwise, I am not going to need the second account anymore. :)
And stop nuking all our settings and preferences!!!!

In no particular order:-
1. I can no longer approach nearby bookmarks in space (i.e. less than 150km). The command is simply ignored by the ship. 2. Alt-tabbing between two clients eventually causes at least one to lock up and more often than not, both. I have disabled premium graphics and still the same result. Memory leak? 3. Overview tabs appear to be doing something other than working as they should. 4. It could be traffic in system/node/game I suppose, but the frame rate does appear to have reduced. 5. When 0m from gate I continually got the message about having to be within 2500m to jump. This has happened before and maybe related to system load I guess, but still a problem. 6. CCP don't appear to be listening/interested in what its paying customers are saying or letting them know what is going on to address the apparently countless issues with the "boost patch". :(

Im not guna go at CCP since well I have learnt do deal with this over the years of playing on Eve well since it was just a baby beta; Heres an answer towards why CCP isnt replying at this moment "Maybe there more concerned on 'how to quickly fix this'"?? if you keep hammering them and instulting them on a personal level; of course there just going to ignore you =/ this is why you should KINDLY ask, and dont say you've put up with this for a longtime, I doubt you have; there are players out there like me that have delt with this for years now; And yes it does tick me off that they take so long to fix these issues.
Though I have stuck through for one reason "CCP has still managed to make one of the BEST MMORPG to date" So before you start insulting them on a personal level; think "Why are you still here if a game ticks you off so badly?"
Now now I am not completely defending CCP but why are you here? its a game dont get so stupidly heated up, an plus the game is cheap to play monthly or yearly.
Now onto a friends issue. Gate jump bug: A friend has experienced a little bug where the gate he uses shows that usual "gate currently down" then goes to warp to a station nearby; but instead he cant warp but in 2-3 seconds hes warped to a null sector with no gates no planets no belts no nothing.
Seems to be happening everywhere in 0.0
Thank you.

Market quickbar needs to be sortable by name. Having folders there is handy but the fact that you have no control over sorting and the sort is now in a different order than before makes managing the market more difficult.
