Actually, this is a boost to Amarr \o/ Stop whining, and live with it, our ships were "nerfed" in the same fassion, but atleast the damage went up on armor a lot

That actually sounds like a good plan, but maybe you should have done it in silence instead of posting useless comments that add nothing to the patch. OR maybe you should give it a chance and at least try the changes before you whine about them...
All in all, this looks like a nice patch, offcourse every boost is also a nerf to some other thing. Boost one weapon, all other ships die more easily when fought with that weapon, but thats not a nerf to all the ships right? I'm curious to how the changes will turn out, but the -10% EM resistance on armor will sure be nice boost to the amarrian lasers

-nerfs to shield and armour tanking
-nerf to undocking safely
-nerf to the raptor's powergrid
-Nerf to the navy apoc based on the t1 apoc now being better
All my settings got lost (AGAIN!) - lucky I made a script to regularly backup my settings as it happens so often

Anyone else not able to get the patch verified? It downloads completely, then says it cannot be verified...have tried 6 times now.
The patch was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?
You will not be able to enter the game until you download the patch.

There its a solution for the changes its very simple - juct find a way to swap my caldari skills with other race and i be ready to accept with fun every new no nerf boos mega maxi incredible pach.

I'm actually a programmer, A lead programmer if that tells your something about my IQ. And the quality like this presented to us in those settings crapping patches (actually as I heard that patch destroyed even bookmarks) with QA close to nonexistent comes to tell me, You , US about the abilities and even the IQ of people building the patches and probably making decisions about how the game will be balanced.
So please put your glasses on and start looking at the big picture not just at the smaller bits.

Getting this message:

Anybody else getting an 'unknown' server status? I'm not running behind a firewall, I have internet connectivity, and I didn't have a problem before I installed the patch. Any ideas?

Wow, I never knew BS could look so pretty when one paid for it.
Frankly, After being through many patches and client upgrades, I still fail to see what the big picture is. Amarr got nerfed. You took EM armour down 10%, and shield exp down 10% and whole bunch of other tiny ****.
My Curse still sucks. My Cerb is really ****ty for missions now. and I am not about to train a whole other race to compensate for your lack of thinking of others than the Whine group who has to nerf everything yet has not even undocked into a pvp situation.
I agree with others as well. Your patches wiped my bookmarks. Client is a little sketchy and I hate having to copy paste from MY backups to fix your mistakes.
CCP, get your act together and do something right for once. Not just what is easiest to do.
The right way is not always the easiest.

Ok - now have 2 full fresh installs to separate drives (not just logical separations) and each client running under it's own cpu core affinity. Still no joy. one client or the other keeps crashing if I try to switch between them.
CCP now needs to fix this or they will quickly lose up to half their (virtual) subscribers... |

so after 10 pages I am positively scared to install the new patch. I am running the classic client (no disk space left for premium) and I dread the reported FPS drop.
basing my oppinion just on this forum thread, I'd guess CCP will be force to at least one more extended downtime in next 2-3 days to either correct major issues or rollback the patch.
luckily I still have about 40 hours on my current skill ...
