Many of you have probably wondered what was going on behind the scenes at CCP. We have done our best to keep you updated through the Message Of The Day (MOTD) and the Downtime News page. During the deployment of Trinity 1.1: Booster Patch we discovered that specific items in the database had been incorrectly updated due to an error while updating the database. This meant that we had to go back and retrieve data from a backup that had been performed earlier in the process. Due to unforeseen delays, the process for restoring this data and doing the necessary integrity checks took longer than anticipated.
With the delays originating from the restoration process itself; it was very difficult to give an exact ETA. We regret any inconvenience these delays may have caused.
We would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the latest changes presented. Please keep all feedback to this thread; all other will be locked and redirected.

The patch brought some nice changes - however, there seems to be
one 'nerf' after all:
The 1152x864 screen resolution is gone!?
Did you do this on purpose - and if so, why?
Other than that: great boost so far!

I kind of understand why you turn off the forums. But before the servers comes up you need to make sure the forums are up as well. This is the best place to find out about how a patch is working and if it is 'safe' to update. Opening the server but not the forums is a bad idea.

Game panels such as the Overview keep repositioning themselves ever undocking. This occurs regardless of being pinned or not.

When I tried to patch to 51200 the patcher decided the CRC on one of my installed files was bad and told me to reinstall, and left me in a horked state. So after spending an hour downloading the full premium 51200 setup, I ran that, and it failed the verification. Now that was really annoying. So I'm presently trying to install the full install I had before, 45943, in the hope that I can then patch that to 51200.
Anyone else having similar problems?

I dont know if this has anything to do with the patch, but evemon will not work for me now. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.
Now as far as the changes go, GOOD WORK  I like the welcome pages a lot. They will help me figure out the market much better and maybe even make more iskie's

You people can't even get a single thread together can you?
Overview completely wiped, again. Settings on all three clients, wiped, again.
I'm really sick of redoing all of these ******* little things because you guys can understand how to keep them from patch to patch.
You can't even figure out what's going to be included in the patch 24 hours prior to deployment.
This is really getting pathetic.

I'm getting a bizarr error from my monitor when i launch the EVE Client. It goes grey with a white text box in the middle saying "Out of Range" with some H and V values in it.
I cant seem to interact with the client or my machine till i Cntrl Q and then it goes back to normal. What can i do about this?

Ok I hope this is finally the right thread cause I've been bounced twice now. Here is my report so far:
1) Ship appears and disappears in hanger.
2) 1st undock attempt I saw only the station undock tunnel and not my ship (though my ship was in space already). fixed when I "looked" at station then "unlooked".
3) Flying away from station, camera locked to a single view and would not rotate or zoom in/out on ship. I could fly back to station but the camera showed me still flying away from station. Essentially screen image frooze.

I'm having overview issues. Every time I dock/undock, all window positions and settings revert back to default. The window positions reverting is really annoying. I normally keep my drones window on the left, and it jumps back to the right below the main overview panel. I assume the fleet window will as well, but haven't been in a fleet yet. The selected item window snaps back to the top instead of where I put it. It also changes the filters back to the default instead of staying with the saved setting I normally use.
Whats the point of a customizable overview if I have to customize it every time I undock?

You did a great job CCP. Well done!
You did forget one thing though. I have mentioned this before but it gets little attention by anyone.
Under Wallet - Orders - There under selling it shows tabs listed as
"type" - "Quantity" - "price" - "location" - "expires in"
Now, whats missing is Region. When I fly around to update my sell orders I am not sure what region my orders are in, so I must look up each system name. Or memorize it. But when you have 100+ sell orders up its a bit of a pain.
Please allow us to sort by region.

This is a suggestion for open fleet
Is it possible to make it so we can customize the open fleet invitation
For example Fleet "Invitation for roaming gang(Alliance)"
That way there can be multiple links in an intel channel. And people can easily tell what gang they want/need to join.
Alt-Tab Problem
When ever I Alt tab. Eve doesn't really want to open back up for me. And when it does open back up. All of the station buttons have no names.(they are just blank boxes with the logo) And the same thing happens with the channels.
Ill keep editing this post if i find more problems
Moon/Planet Glitch
Whenever i look to a side of a moon or planet(if im close to it) and continue to move to move my screen to the side the moon/planet disappears.

Lost all the settings on one client which i had to reinstall. Game would just auto CTD right after clicking the icon. Then client seemed to start having some severe lag/connection issues to the server. Chat boxes not working and such.. Restarted and now cant get ingame... Not one of the smoothest patches thats for sure :(

I do have to say the following...
I have been playing EVE Online for only a few weeks now. My entire time online consists of mining, learning, and purchasing new skills / ships / equipment / etc.
The patch provided no new features that I need. The patch did not fix any problems that I had, as I had no problems.
Most Critical - The patch has created a whole lot of "lost settings" and lots of other tiny annoyances that make the game a lot less enjoyable to play.

Couple things.
1. /end /LUA:OFF not working. all my settings are in C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE now. I want Eve to stay in EvE's folder on my D: drive.
2. All resolutions are gone from windowed mode except for 1680* 1050. Perhaps this is because that is my monitors default size. Regardless, I need other sizes to play windowed. Playing windowed implies the window is smaller than your screen size.
3. Ability to adjust the cache size gone. Didnt see it in the patch notes, not sure if its a feature or oversight.

Exactly the same thing for me; I guess/hope it has something to do with massive amounts of ppl downloading and connecting to Tranquility.

My IGB bookmarks are wiped. I have a second computer which I haven't patched yet, and it has most of the bookmarks this patch disappeared. Is there a way to retrieve those bookmarks before patching?

What happened with this patch ?
Gates in 0.0 are stuck, it says my ships has left XXX system 2 mins 28 seconds ago, when I'm in another system. Can't jump to other systems. My ship warps by itself to unboormarked places, etc.
Answers ?

Ditto on the overview issue . . . everytime I dock and undock, the overview window moves, and so do any windows on the right side of the screen. I've changed settings, locked windows, pinned and unpinned them. Nothing works. Please help.
