Hi everyone!
We are now moving to a more rapid update cycle on Singularity, this means your Sisi client can very quickly fall out of date but we have developed some nifty solutions to this problem recently. First there is the Sisi launcer (only available on Windows) which is aimed at making management of a test server client much easier, but you can also use the 'generic patcher' that is linked to from the Sisi patches page. The generic patcher acts as a repair tool that will update a client you have to whatever version the patch was built for. If you log in to Sisi every day you can also just update via the automatic patching service built in to the client.
This also means we are moving our development focus to stabilizing and bug fixing. To help with this process you can file bug reports and there is even a new way to file bug reports, so you can file bug reports on the bug reporting system itself. For a more rapid feedback loop you can then post the report ID in this thread.
I will attempt to keep an up to date list of issues here, so check back frequently.
Please use this thread for general feedback or to report severe issues, please take the time to also bug report as per the instructions here. There are more detailed feedback threads for the newest features in the Test Server Feedback section of the forums, please use those threads where appropriate. For account reactivations and unbanning see this thread. I also recommend reading the latest devblogs to stay up to date on what is coming to Sisi in the next few weeks.

I don't control the schedule for devblogs, there are a lot of things that need to happen before one is published (like translations) so they don't always co-inside completely with our schedule for Sisi. Yes, I have tried restarting several times and this always happens. How long the black screen lasts does seem to vary a bit though, between about a minute and 5 minutes.

Cheers Previous Sisi build to current Sisi build required my SisiLauncher to download 275 MB.
From a TQ copy it's probably closer to 2 GB. Your stuff goes here. |

I logged in and EVE loaded CQ (fine and dandy) But when I went to change to Hangar to view my ship, EVE locked up and then crashed.
Specs: AMD Phenom II x6 @ ~2.7ghz EVGA 460GTX SSC edition 8gb DDR3 R.A.M

In the login screen, what is that structure? The orbital command station for the dust connection?

I cant say about FW. But i know for a fact that the AF fix has been delayed to after the initial winter release. I cant find the original coment but they just cant get it done in time. But they assure us it will be part of a winter expansion patch. |

OK . I have been lucky to spend an hour testing before the re-boot happened. Here is my discovery's and views --
1. The warp'ng graphic is very good on my system == +1 2. The button to jump at the next gate when traveling actually does that. My left mouse button sends == +1 3. The login screen == a big +1 (hope it makes it to final distribution, also makes an interesting screen saver) 4. The UI scaling == +1 5. The no delay to change ships == +1 6. The change in the game backgound images == +1 7. The change to shadows and their effect on the forground images == +1 (on my system you all got that one finally right--Thanks)
So far that's my feedback.

weird things seem to be going on with bulkdata, I had to redownload it multiple times (each time I had restarted client). my client just wasn't working right, but then the reboot happened so I can't give details.
can you send me the bulkdata workaround mentioned in the original post? |

Did the log in animation lock up on any one else over the down time? I got 2 ships on the left hand side of my screen only moving back and forth a little.
edit: Win7 64 bit is locked up like the planet better though Win7 32 bit works find but is bugy plannet is to redd has a diffrent angle on it then the 64 bit version. |

I hope the trails are actually impressively long like they used to be. They really look short on the login screen.
I hope this isn't another cyno/Aura scenario, finally replacing the grand missing effect after years of waiting... with something less cool than how it was to begin with. CCP seem more oriented towards conservative polish than recapturing greatness when bringing back the cool things they nuked years ago.
Please be space-splashing impressive, engine trails.

I undocked in my Proteus, the undock process got stuck on Checking navigation systems, so I wait for a sec and realise that it's not going to go away. I then exit the client thinking this has resolved my issue. However, I was wrong. I can no longer get past the Checking navigation systems process of logging in now, game is unplayable.
I have cleared cache and repaired the client, twice.
EDIT: It seems only TheButcherPete has this issue of my collection of characters, because my alt logged in and undocked in 6-C just fine. /me snugglehump you long time GÖÑ

Some ship models look kinda weird here. Blurred windows on Brutix, Talos, Maller, ...
Also those formerly black (very dark) parts on the new Amarr hulls (engine section, ...) are now brown/bronze like the armored parts of the ship. On the Oracle for sure, not completely sure on the Maller.
Is this finished and intentional? Please no! Black-golden is why Amarr ships are that shiny 
EDIT: I take that back, partly. After a restart of my Sisi client Maller looks as usual. Also Brutix and Talos.
But still no black engine section on the Oracle! It's all bronze. Why?? Just compare Maller with Oracle. I hope this is still work in progress? |

I totally agree. I'm likely to think that this might had been a relatively minor adjustment in therms of coding or something but who ever had this idea or just did this has to be rewarded...somehow. I'm so amazed just by these gates. and I now noticed the stars in the background...god damn great. Among all those heavy duty changes/ fixes with the coming expansion it's kinda silly but I can't help it, gates, stars, great work. Top notch visuals.
I have never felt more at home in EVE.
Just noticed kind of a misplacement of the nebulae in some systems. sometimes the corners or edges of a system are visible through the background textures. Also the sun isn't be occluded by large objects in space. Maybe that should be checked. |

Found an interesting bug that bring about a desired effect. The report number for this bug is 118630.
Basically, switching ships inside the ship hangar will decrease the amount of fog. You can switch ships until the fog is removed completely.
Here are some images:

I vastly prefer the hangars without fog. It just makes sense to me since you're inside of a station to begin with. Removing the fog entirely would be great, but it also presents the problem of having to cover up the untextured bottom section of the hangar. |

That was changed. Effectively 1 block became 10 blocks and consumption went from 4 blocks an hour to 40 blocks an hour. So no change in actual fuel usage. Read the relevant thread and you'll notice where it was changed (in order to preserve faction tower and sov discounts).

Now those are real trails in that movie.

- The new warp effect... nice - Engine Trails... a bit to thick and to intense... you cant realy see the "flames" and the engine glowing anymore, but it still looks nice - Change of the boni on the Naga... good step - Stargates directing to the destination sun... now you just have to make the planets and stuff move on the orbit - The turrets now realy miss the target... awesome, but can you also implement that the target sees the projectile pass their ship? it's a bit funny when you read "xyz misses you completely" but you still see the hit animation - The new textures on the caldari ships are also well done... I'm a proud basi pilot now  - ...

Played with Naga fittings on Singularity.
* The current hybrid bonuses make it more useful than a split weapon layout, since it lacks the speed and tank to use torpedoes * It will be a great fleet ship since it can hurt at closer ranges than usual, thanks to the generous damage + optimal bonuses per level * It's possible to fit 450mm, 2x damage mods, tracking mods, AB and a decent active tank * Passive tank is not an option, sig radius and mobility is your friend to hunt down the BSs * Plenty of room in the cargo for cap booster now that hybrids are smaller (yay!) * Can reach the 300+ DPS @ 50+km of a cruise Raven without compromising it's tank or mobility
And the funny part:
* They removed the torpedo bonuses fearing it would make the Naga too useful against small targets, but it was relatively easy to one-volley Sansha frigates/cruisers at range with a painter and AB to keep transversal low. Since you don't have drones, you rely on support for everything closer than 30km, but it ironically it's much more effective for smaller targets with rails than it would be with torpedoes.
Overall, I think it's pretty decent. I would love to see some ECM bonus in exchange for 5% of the optimal though, it would make it more unique, or maybe give the Ferox an ECM bonus to differentiate. Right now it feels a bit like what the Ferox or the Rokh should have been. |

- Warp effect is just stunning, especially when warping through planets, just epic :)
Cons
- Naga as a hybrid boat will probably be one of the least used ships
- I don't know about many Caldari pilots that have trained for T2 hybrids
- Thus effectively there is no new ship for Caldari pilots in this expansion
- Golem looks just plain gay, who desided upon this color? Some spoiled oil-rich arab kid???
- Engine trails "cover" up most of the engine effect, at least when I tested it with the Crow, so the beautifly engine effect wont be seen much.

I don't know if this counts as a bug. Warping through a planet has good graphics, but you can still slowboat into a planet or moon and see the messed up graphics. Warping from inside a planet also seems to confuse the warp tunnel effects too, it takes a long time before you see anything.
As long as we are making changes to help immersion while FiS, are we getting a collision bubble for planets and moons? Also you may want to consider making the game not allow making a BM inside a planet or moon as you warp through it. CCP employees should never proclaim a feature to be awesome. Only subscribers should. Subscribers can never answer a question posed to CCP. Only CCP can. |

One thing I've noticed with the warp effect is that the glare from the sun stops overlapping the ship as soon as it initiates warp all up until it comes out of warp. Cosmetic, but something I've noticed.
Engine trails are very nice, but could be blurred/dimmed slightly, and maybe not shoved up against the engine nozzle, and instead, trailing back a bit as it was like before.
Everything else is well done as a whole. I could gripe that the planets still lack ice caps, or that world sounds don't distort when you warp away like they used to, but hey, can't have it all.

So far this is shaping up to be one of the best expansions ever. That is... except for the hybrid balance.
Here are my solutions:
The problem stems from the fastest, most agile race ALSO having the best ability to maintain a variety of range and keep DPS on a target.
There are two ways to correct this, and they must be followed closely: 1) Make Gallente the fastest race, with Minmatar being the most agile. This makes Gallente terrifying when they are sprinting at you, and the Minmatar must use their manueverability to their advantage, while the Gallente ships are sprinting like a bull at a matador.
-or-
2) Make Gallente the falloff race, with a small buff to optimal. Projectiles will have to be retooled to having almost non-existent falloff. This makes it so the Gallente will remain slower than the Minmatar AND less agile, but their falloff will still hit into the Minmatar ships regardless. For example: Heavy Neutron Blaster II should hit 6km optimal with 8km falloff. 425mm Auto cannons should have 10km optimal with 1km falloff. This would force them into a very narrow gap to maintain damage on target, but since they are fast and agile, they are better equipped for this purpose.
With Gallente now having the closest range weapons by optimal, they will still be terrifying to get close to, as it should be, with Minmatar remaining the quick, agile race with a specific range they must maintain to be effective, and Amarr remaining the longest overall range.
In addition, these changes would also have to be brought into being, for the sake of tank balance: Armor Rigs must only affect agility, not both agility AND speed. Plates must follow these same rules. Hybrid reload should be 5s, as it is a hybrid between laser and auto-cannons, it should have a mix between 10s and no reload. Astronautic Rigs should affect shield HP, as no speed tank should have both speed and any form of HP as a "tank," and speed/agility modifiers already take up low slots, compromising armor tanking. It shouldn't be "speed and shield tank" it should be "speed or HP tank" We have a blog, it is terrible. How to fix Bounty Hunting |

This issue is still happening with avatar rendering in the Mac client, happened the first time I undocked and redocked on the new Mac Sisi build/
On docking into the CQ my avatar turns blue with black eyes and won't revert to normal until I restart the client or redo customization and save a new portrait.

I noticed penalties were removed, there are now two 20% per level duration skills (unless I mis-read, it is late) and Neurobiology (used to be Neurotoxin Recovery IIRC) is now a 5% per level boost to the benefit from boosters. Also, the prerequisites were bumped up. Nanobiology (was Nanite Control) now requires Biology IV, Neurobiology requires Nanobiology IV.

Awesome stuff.
Bugs: -The warp effect is missing when initiating a warp while looking at the star map. -When hiding the interface with ctrl+F9 the windows you have open (market, chat etc.) just minimizes, and thus show in the buttom of the screen.
Feedback: -The new Raven went better than expected. You very importantly got rid of that horrible pipe on the front. -I am no fan of engine trails. With all the new visual improvements, this is a thorn in the eye. Perhaps useful in combat, but ugly. -The new warp tunnel is pure awesome. |

Ahahaha. First off, the solution is not to role-reverse the gun types. Blasters are supposed to be immensely powerful at short range and have a steep falloff. Autocannons are not the polar opposite of this design-wise. They have intensely short optimals (moreso than blasters in a lot of cases) but huge falloffs where the guns perform well. This is not a weapon design problem, but it should affect your tactics.
Next, you begin prescribing a bunch of changes without doing any homework.
- Armor rigs currently affect only speed, not agility or both. You want the opposite of this for some reason...? - Plates are additional mass added to the superstructure of the ship. They will always affect agility and the particular performance of afterburners / microwarpdrives. - Not sure if anyone's notice this but hybrid reload *IS* now 5 seconds on Sisi.(!!!) I think this is a great change. Allows hybrid pilots more flexibility in combat which is what's needed, not boring guns that all work the same way. - Rigs are fairly balanced in what they penalize, if at all. If what you're saying is true, then should electronic warfare rigs not also take armor HP? (They currently take shields, in case you don't know.) Rigs penalize an area that your build should not be heading in and leaves open to you the direction you should be going in. Your argument that speed tankers still have shield as a viable option is bogus. In the same way armor HP modules and rigs slow you down and make you easier to hit, shield HP modules and rigs increase your signature and... make you easier to hit. Are we seeing a pattern here? |

Sweet features coming, however the hybrids still lack the final touch (ammunition, a unique usefull role and a TE/TC fall-off nerf). Then we can start look at the ship tweaks between gallente blaster boats and minmatar ships as well as the caldari railgun ships...
Also the tier 3 battlecruisers are still way too fast - you need to find other ways of making them usefull plz that doesn't make them the new MWD-hac fleets... less speed, more mass, smaller signature plz And less guns or they will cost a fortune to fit (likely more than current Tier 1 battleships)

Overall the graphic changes look great and make it hard to go back to the TQ server! OK so.. Love the new raven sad part is, now the other models need to be brought up to this level. Love the Phobos it's a great example of how being "built on a hull" should appear. Again what about the rest? Now to be honest the biggest issue I've come across IMHO is that the improvements really highlight the unimproved e.g. station interior and exterior textures no longer make the grade. I believe it's been mentioned that we need a gamma correction so I don't have to post it's to light and the next guy posts its... Lastly really, seriously?, really? seriously? thought you guys would have replaced the T2 command ships with tier 2 BC's by now. Thanks again CCP keep up the hard work. |

was a bit dubious about being able to select jump through gate, before you warp to it, as this may cause many tears when a fleet warps to a gate knowing another fleet is on the other side, and some players may inadvertently press the wrong button ...but thankfully pressing CTRL+space stops you jumping as soon as you come out of warp

I've been wanting them to update the stellar backgrounds for a while now. And they look absolutely stunning, as well as photographic. But anyone else think they're a bit over done? I mean, less should definitely be more. Just the same thing but with less viewable nebulas in each system would be great. Having said that I love the systems where the nebula covers the entirety of space. Gives the system a really fresh, unique vibe.

I have a few critics beside all this positive feedback to the actual SISI look and feel.
WARP TUNNEL It should have less distortion. The actual effect is too extreme. I always enjoyed a clear and nice planet passing through.
NEBULAE Nice artwork. But too much overdone and not fitting well to the EVE universe. The actual nebulaes are inspired by typical Hubble shots in false colors. The problem with the new starfield and nebulae backgrounds is: they are too bright, visually dominant and hyper-real. The ships, gates, stations etc. lose realism. They seem to be put on a real looking photograph of space and start to look extremely less real. The former darker backgrounds were perfectly balanced to the look of all 3d models in perfect visual harmony. Most of the new backgrounds are extremely bright like a light source but they do not light/affect the spaceships etc. Probably it would be solved if the backgrounds affect the shading and lighting.
FONT The new font looks ugly. It's too big and the HUD looks not that elegant anymore. There are actually issues in chat (no spacing when typing, too much spacing in chat). I hope CCP will optimize this. The former font was really fine and perfect imo.
WARP JUMP I swear that this feature will drive fleets mad when people warp and jump by accident. And I see a lot of ppl jumping into gate camps by accident. 
ENGINE TRAILS Nostalgia. But I don't like them with the actual spaceship design. The trails look like a toon element what was fine in the early days where ships and textures were on a low-res level. If Blizzard would do "World of Spacecraft" they would give us purple, red, blue and yellow ships and add trails to it. Definitely. So I vote for a clear: "NO!" |

but 9/10 comments i read here are about graphical features that are pimped to epic looks. But imho that shouldn't be part of expansion but can also be part of a minor update.
So what is really a new fancy feature this winter expansion is bringing. I read nothing about the new t2 siege modules.. or the supercap re-balancing. How are these things going. This is what the real expansion is all about.

Love the new artwork for the backgrounds and warp tunnel effect. Also love the black out going through planets really nice.
New fonts are also a plus for me makes it much more readable. I am also liking the tweaks to the star maps and autopilot. Engine trails are also nice for me.

Engine trails have some funky things, when jumping into warp they do some odd stuff and don't transition well entering or exiting warp (it looks like we've gone plaid with the fenrir). Based on the looks, to be blunt, it looks more like the stylized animations you guys did for the last AT than little gas particles flying out the ass of my ship. Dunno if this is just a base effect that you guys will be adding more to before release (like the tier 3 BC skins). Also, the client randomly decides it doesn't want to keep showing engine trails if a ship, say, passes behind a stargate.
That jump button just made me very very happy.
Can you guys seed/alter the fuel blocks to fit what was being said in the related forum?
Shiny cyno effect is shiny, though it's very red...
Session timer changes are noticeable and very nice
Nebulae are shiny (wish some were more prominent in some regions, but I'll take what I can get). Kinda wish the forge was as bright as lonetrek, since Jita is pretty much the center of the universe, but meh, bigger fish to fry.
Besides a couple of my alliance mates wanting to rage quit after having just bought supercarriers and seeing them nerfed, cap changes are nice (though interested to see how titan changes play out on TQ).
Can you guys publish a list (eventually) of all the ships/structures that have been reskinned for this expansion (V3 progress report?)
Maybe a sum of the changes BFF and game design managed to cram in of the list they had originally?
Otherwise, good work, and you've laid the groundwork for some super awesome expansions after this (POS overhaul \o/ amongst others). Though admittedly, with no big headlining feature other than fixing problems with the game, I worry that overall interest will wane quickly (a warp effect is cool, but not exactly the lasting gameplay value of wormholes or incursions), but we shall see. Either way, cool story bros. |

Engine trails look like they're still WIP. At least from what I saw on a Minmatar frigate.
They seem a bit too long, and definitely don't look good as a simple line fading away behind the engine. It feels as if there should be a bit more gradation nearer to the engines, as if they're part of the engine exhaust animation. Maybe some noise/distortion as well? Definitely not just a clean-cut line.
They seem unfinished, kind of a level of quality below the current graphic stuff.

Naga - Interesting that you made it a hybrid boat, you gave the Caldari some variety. Talos - Disappointed that it got pushed into being a blasterboat, and with no drones. Tornado - Awesome ship, I imagine it being very useful. Oracle - This bloody ship stings at all ranges, particularly useful for sniping.
I'm probably missing a few things, when I find them I'll update this post. If CCP releases a Devblog about the items not mentioned above, I will edit this post.
If CCP released Crucible to Tranquility right this minute, I would give it a 6.5/10 rating. It's good, but not spectacular. Yet. I'm waiting for the devblog about anomalies. If CCP as a company is riding on this expansion to continue financing their project, I'm afraid Crucible has a significantly high probability of not meeting player expectations. It could be deemed another "Half-done" expansion. This would cripple EVE as a whole and help prove that all good things must die.

The change over to the new fuel is supposed to happen a couple of weeks after the patch. At patch time the BPO's will be seeded for player production. |

You do know engine trails can be disabled under "Effects" panel, in "Settings", right? Like almost all effects in EVE? |

I enjoy trails and nebulae as a fan of hubble. Ship spinning was on my wish list from day 1. All this flair of busy work makes me happy. As you surely have noticed i'm not that happy with the direction of some sensitive problems. Some more talk and light would help. It is not the decision that hurts more the silence. |

I have noticed strange tiny black artifacts appearing everywhere when I am in space, regardless of settings. Also why did you nerf the Naga's one redeeming trait, its versatility. It can no longer fit missile turrets, and despite the re-balancing rails are still inferior. Forcing this ship to use hybrids (and bonusing range to encourage rails) doesn't mean more people will use rails, it simply means that no one will use the Naga. I think it could have shined as a torp brawler, but no more. This is a mistake, and another big "screw you and tough luck" to Caldari. |

The corporation window opens and the small timer rotates in the top right corner but nothing loaded.
Clicking the planet window opens the Science and Industry window ok but if you select a planet and try and view it all you get is a black screen. If you try and move the Science and Industry window it starts to flicker madly and just smears across the screen. Exiting from the planet view returns you to the CQ correctly.
If you open a fitting window you can right click the ship and select many options including undock.
Dragging and dropping a ship now works in CQ view.
Right clicking the ship also give you the same options as the fitting view.
I like the GÇÿEnter HangerGÇÖ button now moved to the station services window.
In space;
The new session timer is pretty good give a real countdown without a load of numbers and gets rid of the silly spinning thing.
Love the new warp effect, the tunnel through the planet it really nice.
The engine trails like others have said could be a tad (little bit) shorter, otherwise ok.
The new shiny Gallente ships look good and they have headlights!
Others;
Like the new animated log in screen, I actually waited and watched it for a while. Hope itGÇÖs not spoiled by the new GÇÿLauncherGÇÖ.

Glad I'm not the only one, see my previous post, bug report 118702. I was unable to get Cider logs like they asked though, check my posting in the Macintosh forum.
For me is very repeatable and I only had to redock twice and not even go far from station, using high graphics settings. I undocked, waited for timer to expire and redocked again. Second try bam.

A: Skills not updated. Had really really low range on my drake with HL-¦s B: Had some problems in stationspinning mode. Ships didnt turn up. They were there but i didnt se them. I could interact by rightclick. C: Got an artefact on my screen with a Scorpion. (B and C corrected itself when undock)

When i fixed the SISI setup i copied my ORIGINAL EVE folder and pasted it into NEW FOLDER named CCP SISI. Then i launched SISI Launcher. It finished and then i started playing. |

Had the same exact problem yesterday, it would go from a side view of the ship I loaded the hangar with, then when i swapped ships it would go to top view, but no ship and view would change as i changed from cruiser to cap ship based on size. Everything worked except showing the actual ship.

Hmm, then it is probably working as intended. I can drag to the cargo hold window just fine, but not onto the ship, like you could in Dominion. Either way no biggie.

Not quite sure what you mean? You can still spin your ship, just enable the 'Load Station Environments' from the ESC menu. It will then also give you the option to go to the CQ, but will not load anything extra unless you actually move to the CQ.

Got it now, my deep hatred for anything related to Captains Quarters would not allow me to check that box, so I never did. When checked and not in CQ, it works fine. Sorry for the alarm.

Just noticed something. Large railguns are a little too big for the Naga's turret spots for them (the circular base sticks up out of the ship and into the 'metal' below them as well. Not sure if it's intentional, but if it is, it kinda looks crappy, especially with all the care that went in to giving the ship hard lines around those turret spots.

Also, sensor boosters don't update the attributes shown in the fitting window (targeting range and scan resolution remain unchanged in the fitting window whether the module is fitted, unfitted, online, or offline). I haven't tried with any of the other modules yet, just noticed it with the sebo... Am I missing something?

I can understand the rationale to move them to the nearest station or something, but when I signed in to the test server, my fighter bombers were in the nearest station. If there are only fighters and fighters bombers in the bay, will they still be ejected to the nearest station? |

Just logged, am back in my wormhole.
1. R-click menu still doesn't sort BM's properly (even after placing them into folders).
2. Creating a BM from a 100% scanned result is still not warpable. Will be quite painful to keep w-sytems mapped without physically going to the location...which is bad since that starts the relevant timer.
3. The mouse movement is still EXTREMELY sensitive.....pls isuue your mice (and mine) a full set of HG Snail implants

First of all, I would like to Thank CCP for implementing the Japanese UI. It seems not all elements are translated yet but are we going to see the Japanese UI implemented in the coming Crucible expansion ?
About the font. The font used in Japanese UI is very bad. The Japanese font has always been crappy in EVE but was tolerable since we would see them only in our chat windows. Having to See this crappy, cheap, skinny, Windows 98ish font now all over our EVE client is really demotivating.
I suggest, if possible, using the new EVE font for at least alphabetical and numeral characters. I happened to encounter a bug when switching language from Japanese to English repeatedly which accidentally showed alphabetical and numeral characters in new EVE font while Japanese characters in crappy Japanese font (but some what anti-aliased ? I'm not sure) and it looked far better than the normal Japanese UI.

Since Japanese texts normally don't use space characters in sentences, having a single space character for some reason sends the rest of the entire sentence to the next line even when there is plenty of space left in the current line. I would first like to say I'm very pleased that the dev team has turned their attention back to the game vs. station graphics/cloths.
I am also impressed by how quickly the team moved once the decision was made to be all about the ships again!
There is ALOT coming out in the expansion and I was super excitied about it. I do have to confess that I along with most other Caldari pilots are pretty dissapointed about the last minute changes to the Naga. Seems like we are now making 2 gallented boats (and putting caldari stickers on one) vs. fixing the caldari one.
Is there any hope this changes and we get a new tier 3 BC like everyone else?
Whats extra dissapointing here is this ship is readically different from other BC's and not having one tailored to your races primary damge MO leaves you feel left out. Alternative is to train 55 days for T2 hybrids in 11 days.....

In the meantime, (and a main point of this preview version is that) we hope to get as much feedback from the Japanese community as possible. We will then make changes in accordance with the feedback - that includes the font if the consensus is that our current font is not good enough. It some regions it follows the map direction as well. I doubt its nearby drone regions, cause there is a similar nebula for them thats maps their direction. It might still be the region nearby Jove space, but i think its the black hole. Only CCP can tell us if they actually put it in. |

Well first off let me state that I have found all the UI improvements and tweaks and fixes to be very nice. I have also found the visual enhancements for the most part to be pleasing to the eye.
All in all there are more things I favor in this expansion than I disfavor over all. Here are some of my thoughts and opinions.
First off it would seem that the Moros as it now stands dps wise will become the most prolific dread in game. If that is the way you wish it to be then so be it.
Also I can see the Nyx not only retaining but improving it popularity as most favored super carrier after the changes. Take that as you will.
As for the new Raven I fear I am left disappointed with it. I had hopes that the wings would have been finally balanced when I heard it was being revamped. I know I am not alone at hoping the Raven could have been more different than the old one. Yet I also know that some people favor the new raven. Kudos to them I suppose.
The new BC's look visual stunning, I hope they can find a role in the game and not become disused akin to so many other hulls out there on the market.
The task of balancing hybrids I do not envy. No one can claim that haven't been improved because they have. Yet I believe the issue lays beyond just weapon stats. The platforms they are used on and the environments they are put in also play their roles. I wish you the best of luck on down the road.
As for the expansion over all, I know I will enjoy many of it's features and improvements. Yet I can't claim that I am looking forward to doing anything really differently. None of the changes inspire me to train for anything new or dust off my capitals and head out to null again.
And that wraps my very vague 2 cents. |

Here are some things I noticed.
- The Fitting button on neocom bar is translated as "pâòpéúpââpâåpéúpâ¦pé¦" but the fitting window title bar shows as "FúàséÖ". There is nothing wrong with the word "FúàséÖ" itself but I think the fitting windows title being "pâòpéúpââpâåpéúpâ¦pé¦" too will be more natural.
- Fitting window : Most of the "per second" element is " /s" but ship warp speed is oddly described in Japanese as " / tºÆ". In addition, it's rather off set to the right.
- Fitting window : The triangle character that indicates the capacitor consumption rate shows as "Δ".
- Ships show info - attribute tab : The term "structure" which refers to the ships hull seems to be translated as "pé¦pâêpâ¬pé»pâüpâú". In that case, the translation for "Structure Hitpoints" which currently is "s+¦TÇátë¬pü«pâÆpââpâêpâ¥péñpâ¦pâê" should be something like "pé¦pâêpâ¬pé»pâüpâúpâÆpââpâêpâ¥péñpâ¦pâê".
- Modules "Structure Hitpoints" is also translated as "s+¦TÇátë¬pü«pâÆpââpâêpâ¥péñpâ¦pâê" in it's show info attribute tab. I think for this too, just "pé¦pâêpâ¬pé»pâüpâúpâÆpââpâêpâ¥péñpâ¦pâê" will do. I'm not a Japanese linguistic professional so I'm not sure but I don't think modules qualify as "s+¦TÇátë¬"s in normal Japanese context.
- The clock in the bottom left corner is showing as some kind of format string and doesn't show the actual time and date.
- Character show info : The employment history also shows up as format strings and doesn't show the actual date/time.

Yes, here as well. It has to be a recent patch because I was logged in two hours ago. The launcher did DL a tiny file, too fast to read what it did.

-+ When on autopilot and approaching a gate, the mid-screen message now says "Autopilot approaching target" instead of "Autopilot approaching stargate". Wondering if this is because it was complicated to separate stations from stargates in this new autopilot tool, or just something overlooked. I think "stargate" is better since the player hears Aura say "approaching stargate" while their eyes read "approaching target."
-+ The system button top-left says " list items in solar system" instead of "List items in solar system". The other tooltips are all capitalised.
-+ While in warp, the right-click menu on any stargate shows the "Jump" command but it has no function unless it is the particular gate you are warping to.

In fact, the "Lock windows when pinned" option appears to be completely gone from the ESC menu, it was under the General tab before, above the "Window Snap Distance" option.
CCP, please put this back. What is the purpose of pinning a window other than making it a bit more transparent? I always thought it was to lock it in place and prevent resizing/moving, Your stuff goes here. |

Regarding the engine trails: their length appears to be tied to ship speed resulting in very underwhelming trails (if any) for the battleships (tested for Gallente hulls) as well as for Orca and Charon.
Could we get more visible trails for large ships? Short trails would be fine, as long as their thickness and brightness would reflect the power of the engines of these huge ships. |

I just downloaded about 10 GB, all for nothing. After I found out after downloading and waiting a lot already that repairing and autopatching does not work, I downloaded the full sisi build. I could start and see the new login screen.
When I logged in, two of my three chars on the account had no portrait at all and one had a portrait I made on an earlier sisi installation I set up shortly after Incarna was released and that has long since been deleted, which I think is kinda odd. How does this sisi iteration even know this portrait ever existed? It was exclusive to sisi and the mirror has long since been replaced.
Anyway, when I logged my chars in I got just a black screen. I could give commands like stop ship and see the commands displayed, but no environment or anything is rendered. Setting all options to low quality (which shouldn't be neccessary on my machine) made no difference.
Then I started the repair.exe in the sisi folder and it downloaded another 1.2 GB of data. After that, the sisi build was suddenly a TQ build Any attempt to patch failed and your link for sisi patches leads to an empty page. I give up on this... in the install wizard, I don't even get readable messages because the translation is missing. This stuff is completely unusable and I won't waste any more time on it. |

The problem is that CCP really needs to separate the two functions.
- "pin" for transparency - then add a "lock" icon for "never move/resize this"
Most "locked" windows should position themselves to the nearest 2 screen edges.

5). Character Portrait - Full Body Display - shadowed side too dark and lighted side too washed out.

Should I be able to spin my ship in the hanger with this latest patch as this is still not working for me. 
I did clear the cache for the test server but this has not fixed it either.
On the plus side:
I like the fact that my screen no longer flickers like crazy when I load the game like it did with Incarna.
I like the fact that I can now use the star map without it locking up my PC every 15 seconds for a period of 40 seconds. The star map for me in Incarna was not useable. |

I'm sure this has been covered like pretty much all of the questions i found when searching for this one but...
these fuel pellets aren't really going to be 400 isotopes a piece right? thats 1600 isotopes an hour for a large POS which is like 4x what it is now and then some. Also, should really shrink them down just a little bit more. People really don't load the grid up unless they have to so you can usually fit like 40 days of fuel or more, so if you could shrink them enough to at least fit a full month (31 day) and maybe just a touch more that would be a little more accurate to how much fuel we can fit now. Or better yet, you probably could have just left the LO and HW alone and only included the fixed requirements in the pellets but i suppose its probably a bit to late to bring that up. |

About Japanese UI
- "Agent Conversation" window : System security indicator numbers are using a comma as decimal marks. Security levels shown in other areas of the client are using dots so I guess there are inconsistencies here.
- "Agent Conversation" window : The reward number has a comma as decimal mark and a dot as thousands separator. In Japan, we usually use a dot as decimal mark and a comma to group digits. Well, at least Wikipedia says so.
- "Ships Permitted" window (from the "ship restrictions" link in "Agent Conversation" window) : There are no spaces, commas or line breaks in between each ship types listed and is rather illegible.
- Suggestion : "Incursion" is translated as "S+¦tòÑ". The existing Japanese players already refer to incursions as "péñpâ¦pé½pâ+pé+pâºp⦠(inkahjon)", and I feel the Japanese word "S+¦tòÑ (invasion)" is rather too general and doesn't sound that much special. We can't tell if we want to do the Incursion or just want to go out and "invade (S+¦tòÑ)" somewhere ourselves when we say "let's do a S+¦tòÑ (in Japanese)" . I think it's just fine not to translate "Incursion" to a particular Japanese word and just call it "péñpâ¦pé½pâ+pé+pâºpâ¦".
- I switched to CQ and took a look at the screen object. It was so cool seeing (most) everything flowing in Japanese :) I noticed some text are overlapping and some are sticking out of its bounds so I took pictures of them.

I can move them just fine, please file a report with some logs so we can look into what is causing this issue for you. After that please also check if resetting windows to default position or clearing cache fixes the issue for you. CCP Gangleri | Senior Tester | EVE Release Management

Do you have station environment on or off? The thread has covered this a couple times already, the way it works was changed and you need station environment active in your Esc menu to spin your ship. Having it off gives the old pre-Incarna behavior of a static screen. |

cleared cache and it started working again. did not try it before clearing cache after the mid day update. |

I'm really digging these updates, but I've seen you've made updates to the Map(F10), which are great however the map is still completely unusable. Rolling over each star should not automatically select them, but rather show a small "over" effect. Clicking on that star should show its info, but only after selecting that star.
Or, simply add an option to set a delay for the star selection on rollover. If you made the map a bit more usable, then I might use it more often.
Also, and this would be really great - make the map transparent with an option for us to set the transparency right on the map itself. Hell, put the map in its own re-sizable window. |

Very bad fps with the latest SISI patch. My computer is low end but i have around 40 fps drop compared to TQ. Nebula backgrounds weren't causing that fps drop with the previous SISI builds. No idea what happened with latest patch. Hope its temporary. |

current build 6-CZ49 Think its a wreck issue becouse of all the ships that have been destroyed there jump over a system and its okay again. Like wrecks are being tracked even if off grid. |

Just reporting a bug I have and wonder if anyone else could check their systems please.
The bug is in CQ (any station), if I click any GÇÿScience and IndustryGÇÖ button, or the large GÇÿWorldGÇÖ icon on the display wall to open the GÇÿScience and IndustryGÇÖ window it opens ok.
If I now select a planet from the list and click GÇÿView PlanetGÇÖ the planet loading bar activates and GÇÿloadsGÇÖ the planet but the background goes black, the planet does not display and any window relevant to the background if dragged will smear across the screen.
Closing the planet window with the X button returns everything to normal.
IGÇÖve traced this to having Anti-Aliasing turned on. Having it on at any level causes this (but has a side effect of increasing FPS), turn it off and the planet loading works fine (it also works fine in hanger view with it on or off), turning it off also causes a large fps drop in the CQ.

This seems to have been due to the customs offices and we are looking into it.

Thanks for the bug report. This also effects the map in the same way and we are fixing this now.

Engine trails still disappear during warp .
I really hope this isnt intended as engine trails during warp give you 60% of the feeling of acceleration and immense speed. Also the way they disapear suddenly when entering warp and then re-appear suddenly after exiting warp looks very bad.
Some info on this matter would be greatly appreciated. /me waits patiently for the devblog

Preeeeetty sure that's intended man.
Not that I'm agreeing or disagreeing either way. I think the trails need more work; warp is one area of that where ideas could be thrown around. On a connected note, it would be kinda cool if they were indeed still on when you came out of warp, so when you see other ships warp on to grid you can see their trails briefly stretching for the hundreds of kilometres while they're still decelerating from the really high speeds. It could give a pretty cool "ships arriving" feel. |

Some years when eve had engine trails (before they removed them), that was how it worked. Engine trails did show when ships were exiting warp as a long straight line. But engine trails weren't showing during warp. I think they were on but due to high speed of the ship nothing was really displaying. Only when ship started decelerating and was close to the stargate trails started showing up. |
