In fact. There is singularity. I think if Monkey was in our monkey channel, he could log in his 3 alts there and show us how it is done properly.

Yes, the best monkey can do to prove his innocence, and confirm great PvP skill, is repeat some of his killing sprees on public.

All what you type seems well and swell. But it doesnt change the fact that monkey is/was using a cheat/hack/exploit whatever.
That he has been using it for a looong time is known to many people. Asking for a video that shows him doing it is like asking someone to film next time they get robbed, and the robber knowing about it.
You can track killmails all way back in early 2009 and find comments about his exploits, but the victims usually trolled to silence by, yes you guessed it PL pilots.
I have witnessed his exploits first hand, killed my ratter, so yes I know what he can do. I watched him move through systems without showing up in local ( cloaked scout on gates ), this was some time after he killed my ratter.
But as we know from CCP, if it doesnt show up in their server side logs, you have no proof. So petitions just get closed.
Remove this exploit and monkey`s effectiveness in killing ratters or macroers will plummet.
4-10 minutes between each kill multiple times in a row, doing a log on/log off trick?? Give me a break, anyone who has been killing bots know`s it usually takes longer time for the bots to go active again if you appear in their local. Especially if you are a known person in thoose ares and known for killing them.
But please, go ahead do some more damage control, it only makes yuo look ******ed or just plain ignorant. And it`s quite fun to see the desperation setting in.
The once so famous leet pvp organisation, reduced to a gang of low life exploit/hackers, justifing it by: "oh, oh, oh, but they are macro users, we are the saviours, right?, right?, guys?"
Well, I`m not a macro users and it pleases me to see that the truth is finally up in the open.

obviously the character was controlled by the player, isn't it? still, it took 10min to get his ship (and pod!) down after monkey got this "macrofarmer" - http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=6363593.
tengu is easy to probe ship and it lacks agility? never underestimate monkeys, bro.
@ dumpertt:
You really should stop and think for a few moments before posting the first thing that comes to mind.
Your links prove absolutely NOTHING, in fact they show that the tengu really did have a ratting setup easely usable for a bot. Whether or not the pilot was using a macro or not is impossible to determine just by looking at the killmail. Therefore any reasoning or points you base on these assumptions are flawed.
In addition I have to comment that the terms with which you wanted to do the testing of the "technique" with raivi where vaguely outlined and not really constructive. The fact that the exploit has been proven does not necessarily connect it with monkey, therefore the connection is purely speculation. The way you where laying out the demonstration would have been a lose-lose situation for raivi. Either he would have failed to catch you because you didn't behave like a bot thus you'd claim victory and still have proven nothing, or he would had caught you and you could still claim he's using the exploit since he won't explain what he did. The end result would have been... nothing.
What disturbs me is the fact that raivi is one of the few posters from PL that have actually attempted to give some content to this thread rather than the usual trolling and bovine-extrement posts by indicating the unconfirmed existence of ways to acchieve similar results without circumventing the game mechanics. Instead of being welcomed open-arms he is instead greeted with spite and accusations related to him being biased etc.
Therefore Raivi I will gladly take your invitation for the demostrations on TQ of your techniques, with decently fitted BS's on my side if you are still up for it. The location and time to be arranged, and with the following conditions:
1. A trusted third party acceptable by both parties will be informed in full detail of the techniques used. This is the only way that I have to be certain that what you say is true without you having to explain your techniques thus loosing the advantage. It's not that I don't trust your word... I simply don't trust anyone I don't know on their word.
2. I will behave like a bot in 3 scenarios to be defined more in detail before we begin the demonstration.
3. Whatever kills and loot you get is yours... I'll probably trow some faction loot on the ships just to make it worth while and give further incentive to kill me.
4. All information that could lead to revealing the legit techniques adopted will be omitted from public unless you chose otherwise.
5. ???
6. Profit!

Well, my take, depending on how well CCP log their nodes :
Login traps - timestamp on login/logout of player(s) Dictors (jumping) - stargate records Dictors (safe spotted/from POS) - object records Mobile bubble - anchored object records
If they have those, it would narrow down a lot as to what sort of mechanics were in use. Make no mistake however, the exploit exist and has been demonstrated a few pages back.
If the rats are preparing to abandon ship (just in case of a ban), it might be interesting to have a look at their account's wallet and assets to see what sort of movement is taking place

someone here really should think for a moment - how could a bot kill an extra-class pvper's curse? did you see a link?

not exactly. if he can recreate a situation described in 1st post - i really will be convinced monkey is not a magician - and i will do my best to persuade others . right now i'm pretty sure monkey is a magic monkey. and once again: yes, neither winning streak nor timeline proves monkey is a cheater - there still is a chance he could win the lottery 1000 times in a row.
and still - "no local" exploit exists and should be fixed.

i'm fine with it. actually i don't care about his super-duper technique - if it exists, it still useless against player. so it is enough if there will be witness that he logged off - and not using "no-local" exploit, there's no need in details at all.
i have to go now, but i really want this "3-4min at worst case scenario" test done and frapsed. hope it will, heh.

Anyone noticed that - contrary to the custom - this thread has been censored without any CCP tag?
This proves I was right saying CCP are looking at how it develops without officially intervening.

post 1053 corresponds to
http://www.eve-search.com/thread/1304476/page/36#1066
post 1066
There are 13 posts that just went into thin air.
Quote:
FYI, actually all of what these folks did is illegal, as per the Terms of Service (relevant parts highlighted):
21) You will not attempt to decipher, hack into or interfere with any transmissions to or from the EVE Online servers, nor will you try to create or use any third party add-ons, extras or tools for the game.
23) You may not exploit any bug in EVE Online to gain an unfair advantage over other players. You may not communicate the existence of any exploitable bug to others directly or through a public forum. Bugs should be reported through the bug reporting tool on our website.
Even asking folks to reproduce and publish the exploit is, strictly spoken, against the rules:
29) You will not encourage others to break these rules or any rules set forth in relation to EVE OnlineÆs game service or web site.
I hope CCP shows some common-sense leniency towards those who helped bring this exploit to light, though.
CCP should not show exceptions or leniency. They wrote clear rules. Leniency would have been wise if they did not blackmail CCP with their "FIX NOW OR ELSE", did not immediately go for the pitchforks, posted movies in public (and not to CCP), and generally stated that CCP otherwise would do nothing.
The "they would not do anything" excuse is the same the self appointed justicars use to kill random people that they decreed as guilty. This makes them popular ("finally someone that does something!") but does not make them less criminals and due to be jailed.

Now we're finally moving down the rabbit hole and starting to see a larger problem (although I can't aggree completely with your statement).
It's not a problem. CCP have their ways, very known ways and their rules. If they are so bad and wrong, then the hurt people should consider finding another MMO with a company that OH-SO-CARES. Not to promote themselves to justicars of the night and break the EULA.

This is obvious. CCP can not fix this exploit instantly, and can't fix it at all - without adding a lot of new lags in game. So they will keep silence as long as possible, to prevent panic.

I think this should be brought to epic thread. How to kill a bot (of certain design) without cheats. Copied from eve-search. 1. Jump into system with bot, warp to belt, log off immediatly. 2. Bot warps to safe spot. 3. Bot doesnt log off mid-warp, at SS it checks local, sees its clear and (that's flaw of this bot) instead of logging off/waiting cloaked - warps to the random belt. 4. We log on and if we are lucky we are meeting him at our belt, if we are unlucky we are logging off and repeat the process from log off phase. But this method is rather unreliable, for the system with many belts it can take a couple of hours tossing a coin, so the bot finally warps to us and we kill it. I dont know if flaw in the bot is fixed or not, i hope its not, so we can run ravageddon on weekend.
