Not sure why they did that though tbh. "Nerf" is so much easier and faster to say. 
In all seriousness though, just because you have "very good reasons" to gun someone down like a dog, doesn't change the fact that DOING it is still murder. Also, just like calling a pile of crap a "rose" doesn't make it smell any sweeter.
You want people to quit talking about it? Then maybe you should help to get CCP to stop NERFing stuff so we don't HAVE to talk about it. There is a concept: i.e. be part of the solution rather than just telling people to "shut up."
Bottom line: That is what CCP WANTS us to do here, give them our feedback about the patch. If people think it sucks, they should be free to say so. If you think its great, cool, say so. But, don't tell others to "shut up" just because you don't agree with them.
Last note, just kinda guessing here, but, uh, you don't actually FLY a Raven, do you?

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but I often loose control of small drones when recalling them. They wizz around my ship for 1 or 2 seconds then 2 of them just give up and self abandon making me have to fly to them to scoop them. (this was with hornet ii's)
Also it's next to imposible to dual client on 1 laptop even in classic mode (yeah i know this has been mentioned).
On the plus side, sound effects work much better now (yes eve has sound) and start up is much faster.

My vote for one of the best changes in T1.1 is the new adjusted tractor beams that bring the target in to 500m. As a salvager in a fast ship this has made processing and emptying wrecks a lot more efficient! Thanks to those involved in this simple and effective boost. Cheers.

CCP, Please reply to the 22 pages of posts here. I'd also like to add my name to the list of ppl who are ****ed with the "no nerf" patch. Please reset the shield amps resists to pre-patch values. I've spent millions of isk buying Dread gurista amps when now I just could have purchased Tech II Items. Dread Gurista amps are 15 to 16 million and there Tech II counter parts are maybe 1 million. ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

i read through the 22 pages and without comment some issues
1) after log-in first undocking can cause to irritate the overview --( it tooks up to 2 mins for a full loaded overview / navigation menu
2) Character-Skills, setting "only show skill that i can currently train" right click -- on a skill that can be trained is missing ( no show info nothing)
3) where in the Patch-notes is the point that the Dread Guristas passiv shield hardener -- get nerft ( before the patch 40% resistance, after the patch 37,5% )
4) the Game is more laggy and i got often a connection loss, since the boost patch
5) after opening a Fleet, the overview windows wents out of range so i have to dock -- to get it back
6) Cargo-Button, only open the cargo but dont close it as before the patch by clicking -- it again
7) after docking and undocking the overview settings are gone ... -- ( thats only at one corpmate, but regardless of the computer )
8) before and after the patch , u cant put or take anything out or into -- a giant secure container within the corporate hangar array
9) since trinity and the premium grafic it is impossible to play two accounts on one -- Computer, it will stuck after a short time ( looks like a memory leak)
10) the torpedo nerf doesnt belongs to the NPC's ?? --- they hit you at 100km range and make damage ?!:-(
11) since the boost patch the second "Wanted" building in Rogue Drone Harrassment --- Lvl 4 went missing and you are not able to use the quick way to do the mission
11a) on that issue btw. all wrecks which hold the elite drone AI just vanishing after ---- a too short of time , they are useless but have to stay or the loot have to be ---- changed, if we dont have to loot the AI's ( same with metalscraps)

As the patch never fixes anything - just makes something worse. 3 years on the same **** well i feel next time around ill cancel my accounts on patch day and leave it on a long skill, therefore this will stop my frustration and will save me money. and mabey one day you let us play the game and stop trying to fix something that is broken. CCP stop giving us updates, fix the known issues first or roll back the patch untill its fully tested.

In addition to my other replies: I've sent internal requests for the "1152x864 issue" to be reviewed, for a FPS comparison to be done and for the "Alt+Tab issue" investigated.
Some have asked why there haven't been any dev responses here since the deployment. We have been investigating random node deaths as a top priority, working evenings, into the nights and this weekend.
Sunday afternoon was my first opportunity to read the forums and respond to the issues raised here.

I don't know anything about "node death" I do know that when I sign on to play the game stuff that was NOT supposed to be changed has changed. Now I have to spend more time in the forums than the game trying to find out what works and what is nerfed.

This patch is nice in 1 way. It got rid of the cluster f@!ks at the exit points of starbases, but it's not worth it. It's constant crashes, my graphics locking up half the time and the stability of the game being dropped from about 95% stability to a Pre-Beta 60% stability.... Can we have a fix or a ROLLBACK to something that works right?
PS: Don't EVEN try to write this off as 1 bad machine... It's doing the same thing on two machine that have only two things in common: They both have 2gig of RAM and they both run a version of Windows XP, but otherwise have not a piece of hardware common between them.. and you aren't convincing me it's XP... The day you require me to upgrade to Vista is the day I walk and never come back.

1. I can not run my 2 accounts anymore (pc is only + year old, so new'ish), only 1 account at a time. If I start up the 2nd account anyway, then when I 'alt+tab' back to the 1st account, the 1st account dies 
2. Several more lag issues (e.g. install research job, system load after jump) than before the patch, even in very low populated systems.
I hope that CCP will take these issues seriously, since it seems that many people are having problems after latest patch.

wow.. after reading all the horror stories here.. i'm glad that i set 20 day skill before patch and still haven't logged in yet.. i hope that at the end of the month most fixes will be fixed and then.. umm.. maybe i could even try to play...  |

BUMP, BUMP made some setting changes that can get me thru 4 jumps or so, but cpu use is still causing lockups.

Thinking that since i found quite a hairball under vid card fan plate, i entertained the thought that i may have killed the X800XL. I removed all ati drivers, then replaced card with a nvid 8800gtx from my sli machine along with latest drivers from nvid. I was still locking after a jump or two.
1. I only run the old graphics on any of my machines as its just less lag imo. 2. The system has no problem running Halflife II, it was this fact that made me seek forum help. 3. The system has been running eve with no probs for over a year.
Please roll this patch back untill it has been proven on Sisi. Feel like im playing a microsoft game were you just know your really a paying beta tester.
POSITIVE NOTE: Thought the updates on motd was quite professional.

Hum... I don't know if it is only me but...
Many times a day now, I have to stop engines, because the ship begin to move somewhere without I have to do a double-click. I play at windowed mode so there is something wrong clicks caused by myself, but not at this rate.
Also, sometimes when I click somewhere, the ship go to an another direction instead to follow where I click. A gangmate lost his ship this afternoon, by sending his ship to a direction who wasn't followed by the game (this ship go to the ennemy instead the invert direction ^^).
Maybe it is only an impression, but I prefer create this post, in the case than some players can confirm the same problems.

I had problems with my client resetting its self .. losing all my oveview setting 5 time now , one all my char.. also the oveview keep moving and when i fleet up it puts it ontop of everthing so you cant see it ,,, more lag and haults at gates for ages ,, i dont know if im doing anything wrong or the client ,,

I am running AMD 3700+ XP 32bit 2g physical 2g virtual 7900gs Video. Before patch I could play and run my HD tv card over two screens now I can only run the EVE client. Looking at my performance, when on EVE the cpu is chewing 100% of it, before patch it was around 20%. I have switched down to my 17" LCD and disabled multiple screen, still at 100% and lots of heat, then game starts freezing. I have downloaded and re installed client twice, I have deleted and erased all orginal directories in case something was being retained, still no pleasure. I got stuck after a undock and couldn't jump out or redock my ship for probably 20 minutes or so, finally got inside and thats where I left it. I am having the screen windows, overview and anything else I had open etc stacking themselves and moving to right side of screen and bumping offscreen to the top like many others. So when I come out of stations instead of starting to navigate and escape suiciders, I have to spend time replacing my windows to original prefered positions, I have gone through every setting in the settings inteface, still nothing fixes it.
FPS dropped from 80-90 adverage down to 15-20.
My rant, it's broken
I have mananged to do some mission fleeting last night and it was just playable, not pleasurable as before. still everthing running as above beside the docking problem.
This game is listed as playable on a dial up connection, I am on 512 and its sucks.
Most of us have basically lost most of a week of credible playtime!!!
Please roll back until remedied.

Ok since the last patch anytime I play EVE my gfx card fan kicks in at full power so much so that i can hear it over the case and cpu fans.
I have a 8800GTX and allthough this does not appear to cause any problems so far the fact that crysis on Very High at 1960x1200 does not do this and yet EvE does has me a little worried.
Card does appear to be heating up more as well and a corp mate also with the same card has the same issue any ideas.
If Goons AND BoB are agreeing with each other that your idea is stupid, it's probably stupid. |

your using a higher spec pc compared to me and eve's running at 50-70 on the CPU. I do get constant lockups and random reboots and its a right pain in the rear. thankfully the only thing working that doesnt crash me seems to be the chat channels and using contracts, other then that ive been bored silly waiting for a fix. 
i agree with you a roll back is in order or at least a well tested patch fix for this as its very bad to say the least.

I haven't had any of the graphical problems, but this patch basically made the clunkiest GUI in the known universe even clunkier.
Overview Tabs: What are they for? If I set up 3 tabs and load a different profile into each, they all show the last one I loaded. As far as I can tell its sole pupose is to waste more screen real estate in the the most egregiously screen hogging GUI ever. And of course, every time I use a gate or dock the overview name changes to "Not Saved". Is that helpful or what?
Idiot Guides: You know, those endearing 'information' windows on every bloody window in the game now. I turned them off immediately, but it has reset the minimum size of every window I use. The character window is now so wide that I can't see half of my ship when it's open. The assets, people and places and journal are now so huge that I can't keep them open any more. They're at least twice the size of what they were.
Spontaneous Window Relocations: Whenever I open the market window in a station the chat window jumps to the top of the screen. I have to unpin it, drag it back to the bottom and repin it. I figured out that if I minimise the chat window prior to opening the market window it stays where it is. As far as I can tell, going crosseyed and hopping on one leg has no effect. Next patch, perhaps?
How CCP can release a patch that enforces 'enhancements' that negatively impact useability for everyone that's played longer than an hour is a complete mystery to me. Just who is it supposed to help (steamboys?), and was the cost of making the appalling GUI even worse worth it? Every patch brings playing EVE even closer to doing file maintainence in Windows Explorer. With a nice skin and moving wallpaper. I'm thrilled to bits, understandably. Now where do I sign up to pay strange people to tie me up and beat me?

Please, CCP Explorer, can we have some ETA on the Know Issues page update as we have there is of 18th December 2007.
The patch notes don't have any changes on the Shield Resistance Amplifiers, although we got some of the fanction, officers and deadspace modules changed their resistance values, I've bug reported it when was, yet, in Sisi and got the answer that is not a bug but an intended game feature.
There are several threads about this issue in some of the other forum, including in General Discussion. The one I've made in Game Development, almost 1 month ago, got no reply from CCP staff, neither the other threads or posts made by other players.
Could you, please, tell us what happened? Thanks in advance.
